3 socket body armor runewords are either low level and bad (see 25 Myth, 29 Peace) or need a higher level (the lowest "useful" ones being 38 Hysteria, 41 Lionheart, 43 Treachery). And at level 41+, you will probably have dropped a better or equal base. 3 socket body armors are plenty and a few points of defense don't matter much. I would not waste a Larzuk on it.

Socket Rush takes 15 minutes. I'd totally make a Myth for a Frenzy A5 Merc. Taunt can be really helpful against archers and such.
And even a Dusk Shroud needs lvl 49, so this is a good base for Hysteria. I'd totally trade being able to equip my Merc 10 levels sooner over a few points in def.
