The exception to this is Energy Shield for Memory on weapon switch. There you need +3 Energy Shield and preferably one of the cold armor skills and/or Thunder Storm.
The orb is missing Fire Mastery and while the Battle Staff can get +3 skills from Leaf or Memory or Heart of the Oak, it will still be worse than Eschuta's Temper with a rainbow facet and Spirit.
