Hi, after looking at the price checker tool, I'm still not sure about this one:

Might be a nice Exile base if one doesn't need additional res but rather the enhance damage + AR. An expert opinion would be much appreciated :)

Additional attack rating is pointless for
Smite as it is 100% guaranteed to hit. The AR would be useful for a zealer, but Exile wouldn't. You have a nice shield....but it's fundamentally flawed for it to be worth a decent amount :(

Appreciate your feedback, thanks a lot. If we ignore the AR, might it still be worth something for a Smiter (or maybe some niche build) due to the % enhanced damage since that applies to
Smite afaik?

Yep :) He said he wanted to try how it works out without the res. Guess with the right equipment and some charms you can still reach max res but as I never played a Pala, I'm really just guessing here.

You can reach max res using Small Charms.
The issue here is, Exile is a defensive runeword.
If you want more offensive, then Phoenix is better.

True that. So basically if you wanna go all out damage you'd generally wanna have a non-
Eth
Sacred Targe with (ideally) 60+ ED and Phoenix? And in the vast majority of the other cases the all res ones?
