I recently gained a Protector's Stone with 48% ED.
Before being hasty and throwing it into a Helm I did a little research, and found the old bug of ED not being applied when an ED jewel is socketed into armor/ Helm is still a problem.
My question is, does this also apply to my offhand or will the ED be calculated correctly if I socket the jewel into it? I am running with an Ars Dul Mephisto which already has ED.
I am using an Eth Insight as my weapon so obviously I can't socket it there.
My other option would be to wait for an Eth Arioc's if it must be inserted into a weapon to maximize its ED
I can't find an answer via google.

That bug will impact shield and offhand.
But I dont see anyone test new jewel in this bug. So there is a very small chance that ED can work.
