So I found a 4os 12ed, 13max durability Archon Plate and wanted to make a Fortitude with it.
Can I make a Fortitude with superior archon with these stats already rolled on to it?
Thanks

Yes, you can. Runewords work fine with superior. The stats just get added up. So your Fortitude will end up with 13 max dur and 212 ed total.

thats great news wish me luck
OP
rolled with 29 all resist
But don‘t forget: repair costs will explode with superior type!

Just use cube recipe to repair, not too bad

Thank you all for the great feed back.
That's why I made this beaut.MadBarbosa wrote: 2 years ago IMO the small extra defense you get doesn't worth it. Forces you to pick and save Ort runes, and you can use the repair all button anymore, unless you drop your runeword in the Ground every time which is a terrible idea.
1800 is just *mwah* and one durability is <1000 gold
@reserve It's being swapped between Fury druid and Whirlwind barb who benefit from high strength and both have tons of life from Werewolf/ Battle Orders already. Killer is the one wearing it.
If you get a PM offer, post it in the trade. Promote healthy competition instead of settling for less.
Nice, but 232 str req is a killer

Do barbarians have any defense at all while using Whirlwind? Your total defense drops to 0 any time you run, and I wonder if that is also true while using Whirlwind.

I don't get what the big hubbub is about gold repair costs, on my zon and necro I always end up overflowing with gold, I mean perhaps it's more of an issues with melee classes but meh.
A way to mitigate it is to pick up drops that npc for that sweet 35,000 max gold price.

During Whirlwind the barb is considered as in an attack state, and the defense should count.
For the cost of a Ral rune, you can just go until it's broken.. Even with barb I repair my Enigma once a day, saves alot of money. And you will drop this runes more than once in a while so, it's all good

Yeah you're right, I just checked a Whirlwind barb and the defense does stay put when using Whirlwind.

What I personally love about Fortitude (and Lo rune in particular) is its honesty. Even if forged from ordinary base, even if it's rolled 25@/1life per level - this armor is awesome, both for your merc and your char. You just won't notice a difference between super-sacred plate 30@/1,5 and some Ornate Plate 25@/1. Same can be said bout Grief. And both runewords aren't quite the way tryin to make a solid profit from by makin/sellin/repeat. You obtain a Lo, you make the rw, and then you enjoy unless you're freakin perfectionist ready to spend 5-10 Lo attempts just to roll this 30/1,5 or 40/390+.
Remember that Fortitude has 2 stats that vary in their value: All resistances and Life.
The "+X To Life (Based on Character Level)" trait varies and may be any one of the following:
+1
+1.125
+1.25
+1.375
+1.5
