I'm giving myself 2months (Until my subscription to Nintendo Switch online subscription ends) to get an Enigma and perfect a barbie. I have several 3os armors (one
Dusk Shroud
) and have found high end runes (traded right away to complete several builds). Jahs and Bers are obviously overpriced. The best item I have for trade is a 39ed jewel with +2 dexterity. Strategies? I'm also multitasking on hc ladder and if I die I go back to sc only.

There are several ways.
You can just play the game and drop items to sell, but that can take a lot of time, depending on luck.

The following advice is based on my experience, and might not be universal. What worked for me, might no work for others. Also, I play online, so no /playes 8.

The first step to getting the runes is playing a sorceress. Depending on your preferences, this can suck a lot, but it is the way it is. If you don't want to, or don't have a sorceress, it can still be done with other classes, but it will take longer.

Now, assuming that you have a fast farmer, the quickest ways to get runes while minimizing RNG are:

- collect crafting materials and sell them in bulk. A few months ago this would be very profitable, but alas, these days, not so much. Still worth it in my opinion, but not as fast:
Ral
,
Tal
,
El
,
Eth
, perfect amys,
Hel
. Just check the site for bulk offers and go from there. This will give you
Ist

- if high enough lvl, farm
Terror
zones for all the above, plus grand charms. A plain skiller, depending on class, can net you an
Ist
or two. The right skiller can net you several enigmas.
- farm
Terror
keys. 3 sets of keys (3x9) can, by itself net you a
Ber
, or at the very least, a
Lo
. Note that
Key
farming does synergize well with the farming materials. Farming
The Countess
will net countless crafting runes.
- keep a lookout for good bases. Ethereal socketed cryptic axes, berserker axes can net you some good runes. However, I don't think that they are worth dedicated farming, like in cow level. Just keep an eye out for them while doing the other stuff.

Using these methods combined, I was able to craft my Last Wish in two months, so Enigma e perfectly doable, although I was farming with a sorceress.

It just takes some patience and dedications. If you start to get frustrated, take a break.
Once the runes start flowing, resist the temptation of using them (or trade them), unless it will massively increase your farm efficiency.

And most important of all, this is what this game is about. Just have fun, and remember, the first Enigma is the hardest part. After that, everything becomes easier.

Good luck.

Not sure if i agree with "obviously overpriced", high rune dropping is always a joyful event because of how rare it is.
The price reflects that.

Sell runeword bases, jewels, charms, runes,
Perfect Gems
, maybe some desired uniques.
Start small and just grind and work your way up.

Agreed with the strategy, especially
The Countess
is a really good place to go, and
Hel
, perfect amethysts /
Perfect Gems
and
Ral
are usually still quite easy to sell. Also save one
Ist
or two to get a nice base.

If you don't have the patience to do a new Sorc, you can also do it with your Barb, will take longer but you may get some extra drops on the way.
