Is there a guide for optimal Hotkey setups for a Hammerdin?

Looking for optimal hotkey/shortcut Key setups for a teleporting Hammerdin with CTA.

Is there a better/optimal setup?

Currently I use:

QWERT => mainly for attacks
ASDFG => mainly for auras
X => weapon Swap

Q = Left click Blessed Hammer
W = Left click Charge
E = Right click Teleport
R = Left click Smite
T = Right click Holy Shield

A = Concentration
S = Vigor
D = Prayer
F = Redemption
G = Fanaticism

So I plan to get a CTA on the hammerdin but that doesn't leave much more room for Shortcut keys for me and it gets to be a hassle swapping between Teleport and Concentration, hitting shift and hammers, and hitting X to get BO/BC up. It also gets confusing when trying to avoid getting killed and teleporting and switching auras.

I would have liked to see one also, but with the recent changes it would be obsolete. As for a good new one including the new features, it makes sense to have to wait a bit.

Blessed Hammer - left mouse skill (no hotkey, always active)
F1 - Concentration on right
F2 - Teleport on right
F3 - Redemption on right
F4 - Vigor on right

stand still on X

Rest you choose with cursor from quick skill tree.

Don't need to overly complicate things.

Tried the quick keys. Will take some time to get used to but I'm loving the instant cast Teleport/resume to aura.

Don't like the instant cast Teleport. Still used to right click Teleport. More control over where you want to go.

just make sure to Key bind everything the same or like wise for all your characters and even other games. will help with muscle Memory. for me T is always town portal. A" or the farthest Key to to the left is my movement skill. middle are buffs/cool downs and right are atks/active skills. in addition to main on left click/right click.

Did anyone notice sometimes when you press Teleport it doesn't activate?

Like after I'm using a skill there is a slight delay period where no skill can be cast. So I have to press Teleport again. I guess it has to do with me teleporting and hitting the hammer Key.

Animations have frame length when you are basically locked.

Hmm, it's gotten me killed when I couldn't Teleport out of a pack in Chaos Sanctuary or it could've been Stun lock.

I'll try to see how to avoid this later tonight.

Hit recovery animation will also Stun you. This one is a bitch. With hammerdin, I suffer it too to some degree, though I went for 86fhr that helps a bit with telestomping. With javazon, I would not suggest stomping at all.

Tested it some more and it's the cast animation which is weird since I have 125 FCR on the hammerdin. It interrupts aura switching/teleporting with the hammer casting and you can't switch auras smoothly as before.

About quick cast
Using the new quick cast as hammardin has disadvantages currently.
If you are casting hammers and switch auras, hammers will stop.
If you are moving and switch auras (say from Concentration to Vigor) you will stop moving *.

Personally I assume quick cast for pally can and will be improved.
I will wait a bit and perhaps start to use quick cast later, but currently I will stay with legacy Key bindings.

Thanks, this is what I was experiencing. I rapidly switch auras and skills when I'm farming and this was annoying at first but I have adjusted my playstyle. I know to switch auras prior to making an move or action so that it executes the change.

It should be done like with controller support, that the last aura you used is active from now on. This way it would be possible to even cast hammers with right click (my Dream qol feature).

sometime happen to me. just remove Enigma and put it back again that will do the trick.
and for the keys hammers on left click and on right click F1 Concentration, F2 Teleport, F3 holyshield ( only used in start of the game ), F4 holybolt ( to kill magic immunes), f5 ( townportal) and i never feels the requirements of other skills.

I just use Hammers on left Teleport + Concentration Battle Orders and Battle Command on right click. Just manually click Holy Shield will usually last as long as my farming even if I hit every act. So scrolling mouse between Tele and Concentration doesn't fumble up.
