If you haven't already done this after 2.5 went live, you would have to close the game, update to the latest, and then open again.

Alright, I had to restart my PC :D
My launcher got stuck and wasn't able update, even after restarting t a few times.
Now it works, thanks :)

Is it known if the
Terror
zones affect only the monster level or the area level too?
The second case would open up a ton of drops form rare items (e.g. Tyraels).
Baal
Charms will be kind of worthless now as every gc from Terrorzones > mlvl 91 can spawn with 45 life.

I wouldn't say worthless, there's just more than one place to farm them now.

What do you mean by that?

If the game creator is high enough level, all monsters within a terrorized zone would be able to drop all items in the game.

I got
Tyrael's Might
from a random
Skeleton
in
Tal Rasha
's Tombs (Terrorized by my level 94 Sorceress).

Okay this answers my question. The monster level is not the only parameter important for deciding what can or can't drop. For instance,
Mephisto
can't drop
Templar's Might
but Pindle can despite having a lower monster level.

Now that we're a few days in, how do people feel about
Terror
Zones? I'm a fan, even though they are too easy. It just adds a bit of variety when playing, if you don't fancy an area then you can just do your normal thing and then see what happens on the hour, it's made the experience of leveling some of my underused chars much more enjoyable.

I still wish they were slightly harder and remain sceptical about the incoming charms but I'm enjoying the added motivation to farm previously untouched areas.

My hightest char is 92 so don't really have too much to say on xp.

So what is the equvalent of being in an 8-player-Baalrun? Opening a game "Terrorun" and hoping players join and it is in a region where it's easy for players to stay close together?

Fun fact:
When cows stop being terrorized (perhaps when they start as well?) the game goes 'moo!', no matter where you are.

I think it sounds whenever the terrorized message shows in chat, an extra audible component as it were. So basically, at the start and end of the cycle, and whenever you enter a game.

I'm convinced the powers that be are conspiring to ensure that all the best TZ locations only occur when I'm working or asleep.

Chaos Sanctuary
was terrorized at 22h CEST yesterday.
That was the best time for Europe players.

Relax and have fun!

Yeh, I caught the last bit of that but I was at the pub before, I really think Blizzard should be more considerate and take my social plans into account.

Hmm, I think it was the Durance of Hate at this time frame. During my play till now (an hour or 2 somewhere between 20:00 CEST - 23:00 CEST) never saw Chaos to be terrorized.

CS was terrorized at 22h CEST. I farmed the full hour.

So probably I just quited playing just before CS to be terrorized :( Will wait for the next appropriate window then, hopefully soon enough.
