Sorry, I couldn't think of a bad joke this time around...

I, once again, need some advice.

I've been playing my Riftsin quite a bit, but I'm not satisfied with either the damage output or the damage consistency.

I admit that I don't play it perfectly; I forget to refresh
Death Sentry
sometimes, and I forget to
Dragon Flight
the high-health enemies.

I have most of the standard gear (https://maxroll.gg/d2/guides/rift-assassin) with a Rainbow Facet'd
Nightwing's Veil
instead of
Ist
'd, a
Moser's Blessed Circle
for the extra resists instead of a Spirit
Monarch
, a weirder Infinity Base, and without the ridiculous number of expensive all resist charms with magic find. (I do have a decent
Hellfire Torch
and
Annihilus
.) I'm working though on getting some charms so I can swap out
Moser's Blessed Circle
and use
Burst of Speed
instead of the
Fade
skill.

Do any of you folks have recommendations that I can put into practice? I'm mostly interested in any recommendations for a gear swap or maybe an adjustment (I'm only level eighty-four so have a few more cheap skill points.) to skills, but I'll accept play advice as well.

Thanks for reading.

if i remember from lod the goal is to get
Dragon Talon
to level 30 so u get 1-3 frosen orbs per DT
so coh + Spirit`+ nightwings +torch +ani ...

and Infinity on merc...

OP
I do have
Dragon Talon
at level thirty-two, but my average chance to hit is only around seventy-five, and I'm not certain how that works regarding Rift runeword.

I have Enigma equipped, but I guess I can try Spirit plus Chains of Honor instead of Enigma plus
Moser's Blessed Circle
. I have all of these available so it wouldn't be an expensive test.

Activate the "missed" attacks marker in the option (shows X).

If it happens too often, time to add AR, typically through charm. A Steel GC of whatever is cheap and practical.

Btw, what merc?
Blessed Aim
merc can help for AR issues.

Rift is ctc on attack so ar should not matter for getting orbs...

What do you want?
I mean, why do you want to swap out Moser's and use BoS?
What is the goal (more kicks per sec, more +skill for DT, more damage output) ?

Relax and have fun!

I have the marker on now, and I don't miss as much as I thought, but I do miss enough for that to be one issue so I changed to a
Blessed Aim
mercenary. The
Blessed Aim
mercenary provides about 5000 more attack rating on
Dragon Talon
, and I'm hitting quite a bit more consistently in testing and getting about 85 on character sheet against Hell
Baal
. I had a Might mercenary.

I was under the impression, and testing suggests, that such listings still required a successful hit.

I'm still, with
Blessed Aim
, not getting three orbs.

I guess "more fun to play" is the goal, which I realize is completely subjective, so let me explain.

I've played quite a few builds in Resurrected, and the builds I've played and enjoyed all clear Worldstone Keep faster than the Riftsin as I'm playing it. I've done some rushing with the Riftsin, in Normal and Nightmare, where most enemies are easier to hit and enjoyed it a lot because the damage output is more consistent. I'm not spending three minutes killing stuff.

I guess more consistent damage output even in Hell difficulty is the goal. What would you suggest to achieve that?

Overall Might should be better, but if you need to increase AR
Blessed Aim
merc is a nice temp - just dont forget your stuff before changing :)

;_;

The first time I replaced my hireling in Resurrected, I didn't know that the game just didn't plop the stuff in inventory or on the Ground. I lost a seventeen Insight,
Guillaume's Face
, and
Duriel's Shell
. At the time, that was the best I could afford for just a hireling so I was pretty upset.

The "stuff lost of merc" remains one of the worst QoL missing things in d2r. The question "do you really want to do that" is here, but that's not enough.
