Hydras are from the travi members, that happens sometimes, even on regular D2.
The overlay of the map seems weird, however..

you can easily moth trick kill the super unique monster packs too. they have some decent chances to drop some fine loot. and don't forget the super chest behind Mephisto. and the weapon rack / armor stands on the sides.
I had 20 copies of the Stony Fields map stacked on top of themselves tonight doing Tristram runs. Really hoping blizz fixes this bug soon, it's driving me nuts.
