Ideal D2 starting team

Hi everyone,

With D2:R being released in a couple weeks. What would be good team combination to start playing with? Be it a 8 player composition or maybe a 4 player team, what are the classes that need to part of your team?

Is there a possibility for us to set up a team from launch?

I'd ofc go with atleast 1 sorc, since they are just undeniably strong. Based on what skills they choose the second and what you're looking for in the team I'll let the second position be open, but it could be java for more farming or summoner for meat shields or whatever you feel like. I would love to have a barb on the team for warcries, since CtA is late game and then a paladin for the useful auras to break immunities and whatnot. So the team:

• 1-2 sorc

• Second position open: java, summoner

• Barb for warcries and melee

• Paladin for auras and utility

And for the sorcs you build them a different spec right? 1 light and one cold I assume. I was thinking about when it would be handy to fly in an support class, like a pala or barb. Bit I guess you will need 1 in a group of 4 and maybe 2 or 3 in a 8p group.

I only plan on playing java for the first season so Im down for any groups thatll take me. Will be playing hardcore.

That is me and my friends starting on friday afternoon.
A lot need to work and cant start on Thursday.
But i would join on Friday if somebody is willing to take me and maybe a friend.

Open Slot for assa, druid or barb

My team on HC East has been #2 to kill Hell

Baal in approximately ~4Hours and we typically run 2x Sorc, 2x Dins, Druid, Nec, Sin, Barb and works very effectively. Sometimes we have opted for 3x sorcs instead of the Necro. But per the above plenty of good guides to work off.

I would add a CC Assassin instead of an Amazon or another Sorc in the party. She can run fast early, CC, place traps and tank a lot with lifeleech+kick.
