Lost items upon qutting game

Hey, I got a question. I was farming nithalak and I died and I couldn't retrieve the body and I had to quit and save the game. Usually after I log in back the body is there waiting. It was not as well but not with all items. I lost a lot of valuable items because of this. Any idea how this happens? Is there any way to get it back?

Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve your lost items.
Did you TRY to retrieve your body? If so, you probably accidentally picked up some random items. Those were placed on your naked body, effectively filling up the space of your original items. Then when you quit the game, the original gear/items that had no place to go were left behind.

Did you die more than once?

When there are more than one dead body left when you quit the game, only one body (the one with the "highest sum value of

Gold") is available on the next game.

A Character may equip pieces of Gear before retrieving the corpse. If they then die and S+E, the corpse that appears in the next game is the corpse with the highest sum value of

Gold.

So for example, if you pick up

Gold/items with your naked Character, die again before retrieving the first dead body and exit, you may end up recovering your second body instead of the first on the next game.

People recommend you activate the /nopickup when you are trying to recover your body to prevent this.

This is exactly how it happened, yeah sucks.
