help me decide on merc armor <3

i use vamp gaze(6/6) and Eth Insight(12 on aura) open for other option to hear on that too.
this ot this open my eyes plz

Eth duriels is my personal fav.

Fade doesnt always proc when needed

Treachery hands down in my opinion.

Since I started using Treachery in combination with an Eth Tresher Infinity and an Andi, my merc has died only rarely. His ll and damage seems sufficient.

Treachery ! even when Fade isn´t active the ias means more leach, which equals higher survivability + 20 fhr.

Out of these id go with the first one but tbh Fortitude is king you should try and get it later

In combination with Insight and Vampire Gaze you will lack resistances, so I would say Duriel's Shell with maybe a 15% IAS jewel, perhaps a Jewel of Fervor that would also provide 20-40% ED in addition. Otherwise, with that Treachery I think that your slave would die pretty fast as the life leach & +45% IAS would not be able to compensate for the lack of resistances.

My merc for my paladin is running with Guardian Angel, Kira's Guardian, and The Reaper's Toll. With that setup he can solo the Travincal council as long as there's no Conviction aura.

ON: By the way, the lower ones named REALGAR JEWEL OF FERVOR 15IAS/21-30ED drop in Nightmare @ WSK3 and Baal's Throne room, as the Ruby JEWEL OF FERVOR 15IAS/31-40ED drop from regular L66 monsters, basically everywhere in Hell.

With a 5% proc rate, you need to be realistic here. At least, I for one, especially @ HC, can't afford the luxury of hoping to proc.

If your life is dependent on your merc staying alive, I don't think Duriel's Shell makes it any better. Once the Fade procs, your merc will stay much stronger from then on. In comparison, my merc has much better survival rate with Treachery than Duriel. I was skeptical in the beginning but now I prefer Treachery over Duriel's (non- Eth).

I'd vote Treachery. I do like the "Cannot be frozen" mod of the Duriel's Shell though.

you right, I misread and thought he was asking about merc armors in general... to bad there's no excuse for you being an asshole.

I would suggest Treachery between those two because of the +60 @res, 15% physical damage reduction and 79% curse reduction, all from Fade as well as a big 45% attack speed boost.

Cannot be Frozen can be very useful for your mercenary as being slowed reduces his DPS and leech / survivability. I don't think the Cannot be Frozen mod alone outweighs the advantages of Treachery as the Cannot be Frozen mod can be obtained from a Cham in the helmet and the other stats of Duriel's Shell are nothing special.

If you want a cheap weapon alternative, try Obedience. It has high damage, crushing blow, @res, and is cheap to make: Hel + Ko + Thul + Eth + Fal.
