If it makes you feel any better, i tried pretty much every type of end-game set-up and none of them wore a Shako!
My MF chars would have ists in their specific best in slot helms, and you usually get enough mf from everything else
What BiS Helm did you use for a hammerdin?! I have a Shako wielding hdin and I'd love to try something different on him. I just can't think of anything else he could use. He already has max FCR with no FCR rings and only 10% on his amulet.
I'm willing to accept Token of Absolution, Keys, Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes (Eth, Nef, Sol, Ral, Hel, Lem, Pul, Um) in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.

COA if you want to be even more tanky ;0. Some ppl also use it when they have to tele on Baal in p8 games, gives a bit more protection.
Mine just used a 2/20 with res and strength, socketed with an Ist, would have been nice to get a 2 os one, but that was plenty

I can't screenshot it since I threw it away a few minutes after getting it, but aside from the usual garbage zon and sin torches, I managed to get a 11-10 barb on the last run for the night. Used up my luck getting an Ohm, Sur, and Gul before I made another 11m Gold from trav I suppose.
