Additional attack rating is pointless for Smite as it is 100% guaranteed to hit. The AR would be useful for a zealer, but Exile wouldn't. You have a nice shield....but it's fundamentally flawed for it to be worth a decent amount
Appreciate your feedback, thanks a lot. If we ignore the AR, might it still be worth something for a Smiter (or maybe some niche build) due to the % enhanced damage since that applies to Smite afaik?

Yep He said he wanted to try how it works out without the res. Guess with the right equipment and some charms you can still reach max res but as I never played a Pala, I'm really just guessing here.
True that. So basically if you wanna go all out damage you'd generally wanna have a non-EthSacred Targe with (ideally) 60+ ED and Phoenix? And in the vast majority of the other cases the all res ones?
