Does Life Tap work on physical immune?

I just got Dracul's Grasp and it seems to me that Life Tap does not work on physical immune. Is this correct?

Life Tap gives you 50% of dmg dealt, but if zero dmg is being done.. nothing happens

If you want to kill them, the items Spellsteel & The Gavel Of Pain have decrepify or amplify damage Charges that can break the physical immunity, but then life tap would override those.

Technically it works.
You are just healing 50% of 0 Attack Damage, so half of nothing.

Nice to know that Life Tap does half of nothing vs Hell Temptress. After Vipers have been ripped, the Succubus is my new number one in Halls of Vaught.

Can you get wands with amp damage charges? I didn't think that was possible.

If you can buy wands with Life Tap charges why couldn't you buy ones with either Decrepify or Amplify Damage? I've never tried to buy one but im assuming its the same as Life Tap charges. there's also Spellsteel that has Decrepify charges

I ask cause I've been looking for one to deal with PI's and upon some searching I've read that they don't exist anymore. I was hoping what I read was wrong but I've personally never seen one.
