Always the most in demand essence on Bnet. There is far from a fixed exchange rate when swapping colors, but expect to get multiple of the others for each of your green.

In in-game trading most people refer to the essences by their color: Green, Yellow, Blue and Red to keep it simple

It is worth noting that essence drop rates are not affected by magic find. They are similar to runes in that regard.
