Hi

May low quality itens drop with sockets?
(In special with 4+ sockets)

I'm seeking some 4 Sockets Polearms, to have backups for my Insight
Iron Golem
, so any base may work for me...
And I want to know if I should look the low quality polearms that drop too 🤔

Yup, most go up to 4 sockets. base/#filter=Polearms

I do the same, always picking up grey polearms to see if it has 4 sockets to store for
Iron Golem
replacements.

OP
maxroll says that low quality cannot drop with sockets 🤔

Qualities

Low Quality Items

- Labels: Cracked, Crude, Damaged, Low Quality
- Low Quality Armors have 75% reduced Defense and Weapons have 75% reduced Base Damage
-- The reduced value is rounded down. If Minimum Damage becomes <1, it is defaulted to 1.
- The Durabilty is reduced, using this formula:
-- Durability = max(rounded down((Durability - 1) / 3), 1)
- Can't be Ethereal.
- Don't drop with Sockets, but
Larzuk
can add Sockets.

- Can be upgraded to a regular Armor or Weapon with Item Level = 1, by using a
Horadric Cube
recipe.

You can however use "Upgrade Cube" +
Larzuk
Quest to force 3 sockets on items whose normal max sockets is 4+

Correct; if you upgrade cracked or low quality items, it makes the ilvl = 1 so contingent on what the socket range is for that ilvl (affix); it may roll 3.

Example being a
Monarch
which would roll 3os with an ilvl of 1 if you did a cube upgrade in quality.

To answer your question directly: No. Low-quality (cracked, low-quality, damaged) items get an ilvl=1 after being being fixed by the cube upgrade recipe. No polearm-class item, for your Insight base, can roll 4 or more sockets while having an ilvl=1, even with the Lazurk quest. The most any of these can have is 3 sockets.

My question was actually about a low quality itens dropped from a from monster/chest/rack.

According to maxroll they can't drop with sockets.

Ohh I must not understand what is meant by low quality. I thought we were talking about the low tier of polearms.

OP meant when the literal prefix 'Cracked', 'Low-Quality', or 'Damaged' is found on a White item.
