I think you can get 2-4 Jah for the first pair. Runwalk, perf GF, decent res and MF.
The baseline to compare goldfind Boots is Infernostride. You need good res and MF on rare Boots to make them better.
I would wear a high rolled Infernostride on my GF barb any day over the second pair of Boots.

Is it because fire res is so much better than poison res (because of council hydras)?
I mean, even against a perf Inferno the 2nd pair provides:
30 frw instead of 20
37 res instead of 30
79 gf instead of 70
I thought that 10 more frw are actually quite a deal since this speeds up trav and pindel runs.
And you get decent fire protection from Dwarf Star anyways.

The frw is negligible since trav council is so close to wp. Fire res is super important, even with Dwarf Star, since council regularly spawn with Conviction aura. It's the MF and perf Gold find that set your top pair apart (plus the res). People love perfect GF roll on a GF barb.
