Uber Ancients builds (post 3.3)

Sounds good. An no need to worry about Merc, so no annoying prebuff for him
Goblin Toe absolutely required, besides Guillaume only source for CB.

I think Schinzilord's build with CoH and Metalgrid doesnt need prebuffing for max resistances. My build doesnt need prebuffing too, but I am using Kira + LW. With Guardian Angel, Guillaume and Grief, you will need prebuff.

Just a quick comparison between our builds:
My build has 95 cold, fire, light and 90 poison, vs Schinz's 80 fire and cold, 85 light and 75 poison. I got 30% ctc Life Tap, vs 15%. I got 80% chance for CB, vs 50%. His build gives more non CB damage though. So probably his build has slower starts because of lower chance for CB but better end for higher non-cb dmg. Maybe also my higher ctc for Life Tap and more resistances are unnecessary because summit guys are not that dangerous in the end and you can fight ubers one by one. CoH is also much cheaper than Last Wish.

I guess you have a damage problem. Fanaticism and Grief and 60% CB should do the job easily, this is a matter of 20-30 seconds per ancient

Speaking for myself on offline SP without the ability to trade - I think I'd rather just use Fanaticism because the extra attack speed required to make up for Fanaticism is way harder to come by than the extra resists.

65 IAS required to hit the 6FPA Smite breakpoint without Fanaticism vs only 8-10 (IIRC) IAS required with if using any PB base weapon - that's alot of IAS to make up for if you ask me and it seems like way more of a hassle trying to come up that extra IAS than it would to come up with extra res.

My most reliable uber ancient killer is my Strafe zon (it's my favorite build and I wanted to figure how to clear everything in game). I run CoH, Verdungo's, and prebuff Fade to live and the rest is offense. I hold down Strafe and lifesteal to live. It doesn't need pots and has just enough life to not get one shot, but Korlic always dies first, which is annoying for a physical build.

I then gave my Tesladin Exile and tried a non respec Smite build. It worked fine on the first attempt easily killing everything. After that, I would sometimes have a hard time. It really seemed to boil down to killing Talic before he started moving too much. Once he did ww, there were too many adds to reliably click on him and kill him before he healed. I eventually learned to just reset and try again. With Life Tap on Exile living wasn't an issue. I think it just boiled down to if CB proced enough early to get him low. I prebuffed Fade and geared him to live with as much CB as I could muster. With some tinkering it mostly works, but is not very exciting.

True. But the best attack speed breakpoint just makes the fight a few seconds faster. The all res are needed to win the fight at all. And getting 295 all res without Salvation is not easy, even for a Paladin with Fade. That's why the all res have priority if you can't get both.
