ooof managed to do it on 2nd try. secret was

Infernostride on the zon and

Kira's Guardian on the rogue. had to go back to town once to

Revive the merc and refill the potions. still think the difficulty is a little overboard

felt like a 10 second event with my Mosaic assassin and she got a nice jewel upgrade for her griffons

Mentioned this earlier on all summons get wiped instantly in the spam, never felt in any danger. In most cases Mosaic is the answer ;0


Not helpful for ladder though ofc.

There was "little" danger when they moved while I was in kick animation. life drops fast when you cannot leech...

Case this helps others, farming 3.2 ancients with a lvl 94 fohdin/smiter pally, using 0-1 rejuvs per fight.

Health doesn't drop below 75% (then instantly refills) once

Life Tap procs.

Targeting 300 fire and lighting resist, then proccing

Fade from a Treachery in highlands before swapping to Enigma and starting the fight. Probably unnecessary but prefer to be safe.

Strategy: Turn on walk,

Fanaticism, start fight,

Smite, done in around a minute. I find after the first ancient dies I have to

Smite a few adds dead to easily target the next ancient periodically, each add dying in about 1-3 smites. Act 2 merc dies after 1st ancient dies.

10 hard points in

Smite, 20 in

Holy Shield, 20 in

Fanaticism.
Base stats: 25 strength, 80 dexterity for max block, 440 vitality, 15 energy.

This time with dracul's and rising sun amulet. Was pretty cake. Started with

Life Tap

Wand as well just to have a buff on. Merc tanked

Talic for a few seconds before succumbing to a few hits.

Also was targetting

Madawc first as I was going for a

Protector's Stone. This probably made it a lot easier since he was easiest to take down and quickly. Seperating him at the beginning also helps. The spawns would almost die instantly and help proc the dracul's lifetap from the

Frenzy auto target.

Resist were all around 270% with

Fade from Treachery.

hmm what's the deal with the

Dwarf Star? is it just the 15% fire absorb?

because the ancients deal four-digit dmg, even with max resist normally >500
hence 15 points in mdr are negligible, and other stats are also unimpressive

Uber Ancients are a bitch, not complaining, just makes me rethink my gear. My Smiter dies if I don’t watch carefully. Talia smacks me like a bitch.

Correct me if im wrong, but absorb counts after resist% has been cut of from initial attack. The remaining dmg is lowered by 15% , and whatever that 15% is is also added as hp too the healthpool.

did a few runs.. self-wield Infinity zon certainly can handle them, once you get the hang of it. burned through a ton of potions and
