Description

thinking of Perfect Gems, Perfect Amethyst and Ral that used to sell quite a lot but seems noone needs them anymore.
as you can stack them now I understand it would go down but not to 0 as it appears now?

For all my trades you can give me Perfect Gems :) I use them to reroll high enough lvl GC's until I get a skiller from them.

I don't have RotW expansion yet.
When I look for rune, you can offer Perfect Gems as well.
I live in Europe/Budapest timezone.
For my free stuff I appreciate if you give me Perfect Gems, but it is optional.

but you're still on LoD, not RotW, right ?

LoD : lot of people switched to RotW so market is QUITE down
RotW: as you can stack material market is DEAD

RotW PC
What are they at now?
I'll happily buy the entirety of gems in the game for pennies on the dollar. Could use like ~5 million of them. :D

Realistically, the demand side should've dropped slightly. In part because folks are more likely to have some in reserve, meaning you lose the (absolutely minimal) demand from those who need a 1-off gem for an upgrade recipe. And in part because RotW items replaced crafting stuff as BiS for a few builds/slots, lowering the overall crafting demand somewhat.

The supply side may have increased noticeably though as with stacking, more folks will start actually collecting gems in higher numbers which may then lead more of them to start selling them at some point.

rotw kill 90% craft needs

Perfect Gems -> rotw , demand cut 50%+ but still need
Perfect Amethyst, Ral -> rotw demand maybe cut 10% , Caster Amulet still popular but no need in Caster Boots belts rings gloves

Sol Amn Eth Nef Ort Junk Jewels-> value down 60%-90%

in rotw, I also feel Junk Jewels are stock pile, cant Consume like LoD days.

it will go worse because gc sc value go down , it is not reasonable to cost gems to get gc sc. it will more wise to purchase gc sc directly

rotw
supply+
demand ---
rotw down 25-50% material pricing

lod
population---
supply-
demand-
lod stay like rotw release

Some Trade is available for both rotw and LoD, Most rune , Perfect Gems is only in LoD side.
I will busy at us Stock market open time. 9:30 a.m. ET

rotw, if that is Perfect Amethyst, you can try 1 gem below market average, it will sell at ok speed

lod, Perfect Amethyst will 'not' fall below 15 / Ist

Far from it, but some of reasoning here is wrong.

Crafting is still there, needs are still there, just everything has been significantly repriced due to 2 major things that appeared in RotW:
- Stacking led to people picking up trash they've been skipping. This leads to more of these being available on the market, so price went down.
- Chronicle led to people actually spending valuable runes they've been hoarding as currency before. This led to less of these on the market, so price went up.

Also, if rumors are to be believed, botters have been shown the middle finger (this is visible by significant decline in Dclone walks).

TLDR: crafting cheap, runes expensive. Way harder to jumpstart your Wealth just from tending to crafters needs.

What is this screenshot supposed to tell us?

The need for Hel has decreased a lot but Ral is still in demand. I trade in Rals quite often (with about 33% profit margin for me).

It could be a rates issue.

There are still a fair number of Pgem for Ist games both on buy and sell side that i have seen. The only difference i can see is that since of ROTW, the rates have shifted where Ists are now worth more, or conversely, where gems are given less value. If a game is offering at the lower end, it might not be as popular with buyers. There are also times when multiple games are up but one is attracting all the fanfare due to the rates. Often I see a O 20 Pgems N Ist (which is a fair rate); but alongside another seller who is flogging 30 Pgems for Ist, 70 for 2 Ist. Result, first game gets no attention as everyone flocks to the second game.

It could be mismatch issue
It might also be that some sellers who go in to the lobby sometimes do so without checking whether there are already existing games where someone is seeking those wares. The number of times I have seen N Ist O 25 Pgems, sat right next to another 2 games both of N 25 Pgems O Ist - are too many to count. Sometimes I have gone in to the game to tell them there is another game up where the Seller is Offering exactly what they want in exchange for exactly what they are offering. (Trade Matchmaking - I don't Charge).

Then there are the usual reasons for people not buying. Sellers afk etc.

In relation to runes... i have seen a few of those buys on both sides, but don't know how busy they are.

Have you posted here your Pgem/Rune trades?

You only seem to have Pams and Rals in stock and in bulk - so it looks like you are mainly catering for the serious Caster Crafters given the quantities you trade in?

RALs and Pamys are perhaps of less appeal to other folk, seeing as with Pgem, you might buy them to use as crafting components, or to trade for lower goods, whereas RALS and Pamys in higher quantities will only be useful for crafters.

I think the Pgem market is more active though - so that might be a better venture in the short term? Just IMO.
