Think a little more 🤔

Probably the best option to trigger
Amplify Damage
frequently would be to get
Holy Freeze
as the aura for the
Bind Demon
(as it will be only possible aura with radial damage...)

With the
----
Bind Demon

Cursed Affix chance to cast
Amplify Damage
skill reduced to 5% from 75%.
----
The
Corrupt Rogue Spearwoman
, the Act 5 variant with
Jab
, has a big chance to be the new best target for builds that want to proc
Amplify Damage
frequently 🤔
A lightning enchanted enemy works well also since the charged
Bolts
can proc it. Multiple shots + lightning enchanted makes for lots of charged
Bolts
.

Some changes I liked, others I did not. My thought at the end of the day was this is a product of Blizzard not testing, not doing a good job with game design, and focusing on marketing first and fixing after.

Sunder/
Herald
should never have been released the way it was. Certain Warlock skills should never have been released the way they were. This was always bound to just continue frustrating players.

Best thing for us all would have been to announce ROTW, put it on a separate PTR to test this season for merger next season into standard realm. They could have still had the "surprise". Release in better state, and use the PTR to fine tune.

They are making a lot of changes, maybe too much. I fear this becoming like D4 where every few months they fix & break, buff & nerf, rinse & repeat. Warlock for example is now fully released and those expectations exist with players. No matter what changes they make, it is bound to disappoint. Debuting on a PTR would have placed more emphasis on players to know everything was going to change.
I agree. Some of the changes seem totally justified, but others are things they could definitely have foreseen (for example, moving forward the Warlock's ability to handle two-handed weapons in one hand and only Codexes in the other), and it raises questions like "why don't you do this for other characters as well?" For example, the Bowazon/Crossbowazon always must have
Arrows
or
Bolts
in one hand, when this could easily be changed with a game mechanic similar to how some weapons have skills with "Charges" on them. If you find a nice bow, it comes with its own Charges, or
Arrows
, and
Bolts
for crossbows, respectively. This would open up more possibilities for the Amazon, not narrowing her range of equippable items. This was just an example but the idea is when developers start changing characters in this manner it creates a sense of instability, hopefully this doesn't become a precedent for D2R.

sorry if it was mentioned before.
But when will these changes take effect on the Non-Ladder server?

My trades are on Sofftcore Non-Ladder Europe
Please leave a estimate time and date to trade upon an offer so both parties can save time, thank you.

The exact date hasn't been announced yet and the patch may undergo some further adjustments after the public test realm, but it should be available as soon as the next season begins

Noone knows for sure but the expectations are after ladder ends which is at least a month, more likely two, into the future.

Seems they learnt from rotw release, patch going PTR instead of feedbacks from youtubers, first good step.
Most of the changes going PTR seems ok, maybe the nerfs to warlock are a bit too heavy though.
Maybe i'll come back to D2R when they release it on live servers.

"Non-ladder" is irrelevant in the case of a proper patch. It'll update the entire game (or the RotW part at least) for both, ladder and non-ladder at the same time.

What we know is that it obviously won't happen before the PTR is over (April 21st).
And it generally won't happen on the same date as they need time to evaluate PTR results, make updates as necessary and prep the live patch version.
So realistically, add at least a week, maybe more.
Beyond that, we know from previous noteworthy patches that they tend not to apply them at random times whenever ready but do so at the end/at the beginning of a ladder season.

So realistically, the patch will most likely be applied to live servers when the current ladder season ends/the next one starts.
When that is exactly, hasn't been announced anywhere yet (I think).
