How do u make a transaction with large amounts of Pgems? More than what u are able to carry in the inventory?
And how do i carry throuhg a trade with Larzuks Socket-quest in a safe way?
Thx!
With trading large amounts of PGEMs or runes there are in Principle two options:
(1) break the trade in smaller potions and trade in step one with less PGEMs and lower runes and then in step two exchange the runes. E. g. when you trade 160 PGEMs for a Jah you can trade 40 for 2 Ist and then in the end your 8 Ist for 1 Jah.
(2) Simply drop you PGEMs and the buyer has to drop his runes. Of course you should do this only with people who you trust and/or have a good reputation here. If you are unsure you can ask the buyer if he is willing to drop first or maybe after you dropped half your PGEMs. If he is willing to to that this is mostly a good sign. But in the end drop trades are always a risk - especially for the trader who drops first
I have never done (1) and always traded large amounts of low runes or PGEMs with (2) - not at least because it is less time consuming.
I guess same is for socket quests (never traded this before). You should only do this with people you trust.
After a 20 year break from D2 I started playing D2R in 2024 with my sons (9 and 10 years old)

Use intermediate, less valuable items to break the large number of pgms into a more manageable number. Then, trade those intermediate items (with the same trader or someone else) for the desired item.
I usually SELL large amount of runes / pgems / ... and I usually ask for people to drop their High Rune first but if buyer is a trusted one the opposite if fine too
but would not go in a 100+ item trade with trade window its too boring!
as for the socket quest people usually give me everything (trade window OR dropping) but they do have to trust me as usually I even have to quit the game to create new ones for socketing muiltiples items in one trade session ...
so far so good BUT the "buyer" has to really trust me because I could flee with everything but ... well ... not the way I was raised
PS other way is to use someone here to do the "judge", I think theres was a service for cross platform trading but I suppose it could be used for big trade too ?

Thankfully this place is full of good reliable people. It really is too much of a wretched faff to break the trade up into bits and use the trade window. Much better to work on trust and lob everything onto the floor. Takes some getting used to but once you're comfortable, this is the way.

Yeah, I have done the "dump 140 pgems on the Ground" trade quite a few times, but only with people on this site who were well established trustworthy traders
