It's probably a stupid question but while you can have only one colossal jewel, is it only one on you including your merc, or possibly one for you and one for your merc ?

I threw one on my Hork Barb's merc (Reaper's Toll) and threw a couple 15IAS jewels in his Helm/armor. Sadly I can't really use one on the Barb himself because it's somewhat wasted in a Helm.

I have a Sazabi set + Plague Frenzy barb merc with my Zon, have indeed to check if his sword is better with his current jewel or a Colossal... but that opens interesting optimization options !
