Description
Void is a new runeword added in the Reign of the Warlock expansion.
It can only be made in 3 socket Daggers ( Kris, Cinquedeas, Fanged Knife, Blade, Stiletto, Legend Spike), along with Thul, Zod, and Ist, in that order.
It offers +2 to all skills, 40% FCR, and 30% MF, as well as providing additional skill points into the Abyss Warlock skill.
It is one of the few items in the game that offer the +% to Magic Skill Damage modifier. It is a strong competitor for the best Hammerdin weapon.
It also offers 35 Decrepify charges, so make sure to make this runeword in a non-ethereal base. Otherwise, you cannot recharge Decrepify and are stuck to just 35 charges.

Since the warlock can also wield two-handed weapons in one hand, for warlocks Obsession is likely to be the better choice in most cases. The rune costs are similar but Obsession provides more +skills and more fcr as well as fhr, increased maximum life and high all res.
Perfect Void outperforms Heart of the Oak in terms of pure damage by about 10 % for hammerdin's Blessed Hammer purposes. This comes at a cost of 30-40 allres, +20 life replenish and +10 dex when wielding Void. Void also offers 30% MF.
I suppose that this should be made in a non- Eth weapon to be able to recharge the Decrepify charges
And also, the +1 to Abyss should grant this skill to all character classes just like Passion grants Zeal and Berserk. Not sure if the skill would be of any use at that level though?
As Atari points out, Obsession is a better choice for a Warlock and Void may find better use on other classes, like the Hammerdin as mentioned by Sintory

The 40% Faster Cast Rate and +10% to 15% Magic Skill damage makes this Rune Word a solid alternative to a perfect White Wand.
From a Necromancer's perspective, the +40% Faster Cast Rate on Void is much more attractive than a +20% Faster Cast Rate on White.
So if you don't mind losing some Skeleton Mastery points (- 2) and want to go for a pure Bone Spear or Bone Spirit Necromancer, this Rune Word is considerable.

If you plan on using the Decrepify charges, you might want to stock up on chipped gems and Orts. Here's a single charge costing in excess of 2 million gold to repair without any vendor reduction... although most of the price is likely because the base is superior. Each additional charge only added 3899 on to the bill.
Solid choice for a Fist of Heavens paladin. Switched Heart of the Oak out for Void, and it was noticeable. Also added Gheed’s Wager instead of Arachnid Mesh, and finally added hellwarden’s Will and it resulted in a MASSIVE difference!
After All items interchanged, it inly resulted in a -5 FCR. Easily made up for with amulet and ring
