Bone Break)

You can only reroll the Latent Sunder Charm, not the "regular" one. So you keep your perfect ones as they are.

You can only reroll the Latent Sunder Charm, not the "regular" one. So you keep your perfect ones as they are.

Ah, thank you. I thought it was an upgrade of the normal Sunder Charms. I didn't really check it in detail.

Honestly, I wasn't very excited about the revamped Sunder Charms. It's becoming a bit messy. They clearly wanted to fix the mechanics, but brought a bit too much complexity.

Teebling hasn't added a filter for -enemy magic res yet, but he's working on it.

What about sources of +Magic Res to compensate for

Black Cleft penalty?

Apart from the already known one of

Safety Shield and perhaps Magic Absorb offered by Spirit, that is.

I don't know about regular Sunder Charms in TZ. I guess ? You should check (and me too xD). I didn't farm a lot since in RotW yet.
I would think so, otherwise the normal/regular (how do we call them ?) Sunders would have been deleted ? And the rerolled Sunders, for me, is more like some pricey/high end gear, the normal one becomes a mid-gear / budget one ? The two can co-exist in my opinion. I wait to see what happen.

I've had NO regular Sunder Charm drop on RotW, and I've been playing a lot of TZs... before RotW they dropped a lot (actually more than I think they should), so I'm assuming there's been some changes in their drop rate, yeah... but have they been removed completely, I wonder? That would be perhaps too radical a change..?

The new Sunders will most likely be somewhat rare, since they drop only from Heralds of

Terror (as far as I understood).

I don't find information on the Internet, only about new charms or old infos for the "regular/plain" one.

So ... maybe they don't exist from loot anymore ? It would change some things.

I can't find the "regular" ones... I think that says it all.

Yeah I'm almost certain that the old sunders can no longer drop. The ones we already have still exist, but we can't find more of them - only the new ones, which seem to be much harder to find than the old ones were.

So, my next question :

Does the regular Sunder Charms still drop from the game not upgraded to RotW ?

Because according the maxroll drop calculator I posted, they don't appear in their loot table. Or do they let the "

Latent Cold Rupture" as if it was a normal

Cold Rupture for example ?
We can't choose the version of the game (or I don't see it) on their website.

Because if it still drops from the D2R regular game, I'll have to build up a new sorc ^^

Pro: I like the new charm addition/modification to upgrade what I think was a bad charm to begin with. Never a fan of the XXX Immune, rather I would have preferred a XXX Resist. Slow down some but don't prevent. Adding the Light or Cold Sunder to my Sorcs really wasn't that big of a deal.
Pro: That is a LOT of additional affixes. To have a Light Sunder that now adds %Dmg to Light skills + chance to have MF %, I can see whole new trade world centering on Sunders & mats.

Con: So far the mats needed seem to be non-existent, at least for me. Does drop rate need to be fixed, or was I cursed? But at this rate I may be able to upgrade 1 sunder a year lol.

Only other thing I will say is this. We need a Sunder to start with. For some **** reason all I find are **** Fire Sunders. Light? Cold? Poison? Physical? They do not exist in my players world as not a single one dropped all season. Do have 5, yes 5 Fire Sunders. The RNG gods hate me.

The biggest problem: it is insane to get a latent one. The heralds are rare and the chance to drop one is worst. They must balance that. New players will never have a chance to play hell without the old versions.

That might actually create a market for all the old junk ones with bad rolls.

I second that, it takes a lot of unique/champion packs to be killed in one specific tz map before a

Herald can appear (sometimes you cleared the entire tz the

Herald notification is still in phase 1-not spawned. The only time I managed to see and kill a

Herald is when doing tz

Tal Rasha's Tomb - Other maps tend to have insufficient unique/champion packs to summon the

Herald, not to mention even if they do appear they might not drop it, which makes this latent sunder so hard to acquire.

In short, after a few days running Tz continuously, it seems to me heralds are not meant to appear so easily in the every 30 mins rotated free Tz (unless specific big maps like

Tal Rasha tomb/WSK/Catacomb with multiple levels/sites) - They are designed to be summoned using the shards by keep clearing all areas in that act.
