Try to figure out how often they must have been bumped. And then tell me: who wants to do this manually?
Personally, I'm completely fine with manually clicking a single button once every 3 days. I 100% support Teeb's mindset of the 3 day limit to ensure trades don't get stale and buyers don't need to wait 2 weeks for a seller to respond.
At the end of the day its a choice for everyone who chooses to use this free site. If you don't like it, don't use it. Highlighting an issue without providing any meaningful solutions or suggestions isn't productive. With how steadfast Teebs has been with the 3-day bump policy, I don't think he will be removing it. He is open to ideas on how to make the process easier but a full removal, that isn't going to happen.
I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys, Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.
I like the idea of automatically "freezing" trades after three days for maybe a month before finally deleting them
Like someone else said already, there are maybe not only a few "old" people with family around who have obligations which may let them forget to press this button (e. g. having sick kids etc.) and who have no Mr. Ekko or John Locke to take this task in their absence
After a 20 year break from D2 I started playing D2R in 2024 with my sons (9 and 10 years old)

according to previous post, they dont have budget to database.
They need to delete as many post as possible, freeze wont delete post. it is from their maintenance thinking. They need a way to delete post and maintain player trading happiness. And in my guess, it cannot too complicate that they need a lot of development work.
if they build in aws, it will eat a lot of money per month as db size goes up.
There seems to be a trend to play offline as well. The fact you can set players = 7, find better runes quicker etc.
Personally, I prefer online because it feels I am part of a community, even if going solo in-game.
One main reason i play online for d2r is that IF i end up finding a godly rare item, at least i know that i could get something nice off it via trading, otherwise i would have played offline along time ago; of course it also nice that i could jump in and out with friends or strangers to do quick game etc etc

That is what the 'Freeze trades' button is there for - if you anticipate not being able to hit bump for more than 3 days.
But I do like your idea of freezing them after 3 days instead of deleting them. At least that way there's no need to re-list everything.
This game before D2r was already "legend" status. With the modernization, it is already a huge bonus. That said, i doubt the M$ will ever set dev time for D2r.
With D4 released, why would they? It does not make biz sense if the title is just staying on their inhouse Bnet. Why? Well why would i assign 2-3 dev to work on updates on archaic product when the original team already left aeons ago (and on what many see as a fallout.) , when the time used could have been spent on D4 which generates more income and reach? As Blizzard North - i hold a hope. But as a major like MS / Activision ...? Nah. too much red tape bureaucracy.
You can treat d2 original Spirit is gone with original developer and it is not with Activision. D4 is different game, like titan quest poe.
As trader , as long as the things can sell... the site is good.
I really dont care if there is live chat or not. Or real money , as long as I can get what I need and sell things I dont need.
Anything improve this will be good.
d2 , it is like the soul already gone, only body left in the world.
That 3d thing, for trader, it is just write a crontab to periodically curl bump all...I just lazy to get a aws to do this or just write script in windows startup, it actually easier than change site or convince the change.
Don't understand what you are articulating up there.
Expect trade delays due to new update on POE2 starting 29 Aug

The problem is that with RMT you won't be able to buy and sell things. RMT and bots (those two go together, since if there's money involved, it's a huge incentive for cheating) flood the market, so you're not able to buy anything for a reasonable price or sell anything but perfect items.

That is already current status. it is not d2io problem. it is blizzard bot ban policy.
That is why I say that compare to mobile game, d2r is more enjoyable. Just spend simple 1 month subscribe fee that you plan to play in mobile game.
In d2r you can get almost anything that is 90 score (assume 100 is perfect).
Boting is kind of unrealistic , you have to count electricity fee. Even if blizzard not catch bot. From my country calculation, it is not wise to bot that you cant get back electricity fee. Meaning , you pay money to create item for buyer to enjoy.
And if you dont sell exist thing, it is like you pay money boting but not take the money which is less than you pay, but better than nothing. Unless boter can find a very cheap electricity fee to bot. It is like mining bitcoin in high cost country.
From current trend(Non ladder Softcore ), the best way is dump everything that might fall further with market or slightly lower than market value to get stable thing quick before it fall further. Like we all know, some items that is not more than score 60/100 cant sell now.(sazabi Helm, vamp gaze, Crown of age 50/100 less roll, all unique shield armor less than 80/100 score roll)

Well, this is one reason I sell most stuff unid. Yesterday I sold a perfect Griffon's Eye (60 DEF) for 3 Jah. The chances to get a roll with which I would get such a revenue are imo extremely small ( and I put it for sale for only 3 days).
