What should I looking for? +2 Necro, +3 poisson Nova and? Lower res? Attract? sockets?

Can be used to make Runewords:
Endgame bulid. Homunculus is the BIS - why? According to me no at all. Now have +2 Necro, +3 Poisson Nova with facet.
All Res, and plus 4 to curses.
you could do Spirit Monarch but then you have lots of str tied up. poision does not rely on faster cast rate, but rather Nova and corpse exploed u could go Darkforce Spawn and get 3 across all trees but AR goes down. I like mine over Darkforce Spawn.

Not sure what's BiS, but I like using the Trang'Oul three-piece bonus and Boneflame on swap for the FRW. Resistances don't really seem to be a problem.
Homunculus is BiS if you're going for full block, though.

3 pieces of trang (shield, Belt, gloves) are BIS (gives you -25% enemy poison res).

"Best in slot," meaning the best option in the game for that particular equipment slot.
God tier: rare shrunken head +2 nec +3 pnova, even better if also with +1-3 to Lower Resist, even better if also with all res and 2 sockets for facets. Very rare and very expensive, you normally don't sell such things if you are lucky to get one.
Magic +2 nec +3 pnova or +3 PnB +3 pnova, also better with 2 sockets.

Nec need a lot of reduce p resist and Infinity .
If you want play 1-2 Poison Nova , Teleport away that -resist is very important.(without cast Lower Resist every pack)

Good luck finding one. Three piece Trang's set is BIS for me, but I like playing full Trang's set in order to get 3 different damage type, best defence and cool look.Johny82PL wrote: 9 months agoEndgame bulid. My personal favorite is using an Act I merc (remember that you don't want summons or high attack speed on your merc with a poison necro) with Harmony. I wear a Bramble instead of an Enigma and a bunch of FRW. And I use an Iron Golem.leox wrote: 9 months agooh , you are right.

I'm surprised there is a discussion. Nothing beats -25 enemy pr, 25 str, 85 res, 2 skills and a socket on Trang wing.
We are living in times of sunder charms, where reducing res from 95 down to 70 means 6x damage. Lower Resist only works at 20% efficiency vs. sundered enemies so it's much weaker than the effect from Trang wing.
All those other options are relevant for other nec builds but for poison mancer there is only 1 correct answer.

2. +2 PandB skill < +2 Necro skill
3. Necro head can give 2 soc, all res, str or other stats but first of all +X to lower res skill which saves 6 skill points.
That is why Trang shield is not BiS.

For Poisonmancer, except if you're very rich I agree that Trang 3 pieces is cheap and very efficient (usually Belt gloves wing, last one with Um or Poison facet jewel.
Though the most critical piece to get is the Death's Web.
That said, if super rich you can try to get the unlikely combination that will make you have a better shield - still harder (or a 4 os Poison facet Monarch, but ouch for survivability)
