If upgraded to pb, then it will become indest while being Eth.
The only thing good coming from this sword is the massive ar. Otherwise if you dont need the ar, probably other unique swords or cheap sword rw might be a better choice

@Pitach, like said above, Phase Blade is indestructible by design. You can get powerful PBs by upgrading them from Ethereal Crystal Swords or Dimensional Blades.
Well, since I never tried doing that, I am relying on information available on the internet, but the post I mentioned above and also the one below seems to agree on Eth PB:

Fair enough, everyone can be mistaken Sorry if I came off a bit harsh.
This is one of the little oddities in the game and probably not intended behavior (that would be my guess anyway), since they can't actually drop as ethereal. There aren't any other items that are inherently indestructible in a higher tier form so probably just something that was overlooked and never deemed important enough to fix. But I don't actually know, of course.
Anyway, if we're done discussing the possibility of ethereal phase blades, like others have said before, the OP's sword is not of any value - it needs better affixes

This actually intrigued me since I always heard it worked but never tested it.
I just used Hero Editor to make a fake Rare Crystal Sword. Ignore the values since they are bogus but:
hence if you could find a nice rare 2 socket with good mods for cs or Dimensional Blade, its value would worth beyond any affordability if upgraded to pb.
Obviously the attack speed of PB can't be matched.
And Phase Blade really shouldn't say "Very Fast Attack Speed", they should have come up with something else specifically for this weapon's high speed - "Extremely Fast Attack Speed", "Faster Than Lucky Luke", "Gotta Go Faster"...
