Yes, it has the +50% base damage bonus from being ethereal, like any other ethereal weapon. A regular Phase Blade has 31-35 base damage, but an ethereal one has 46-52 base damage. Always pick up yellow crystal swords and dimensional blades, if only to check ethereal status (I do with inventory open just to check for translucency). You never know!
