Kicking the altar before the sun goes dark

Hi,

today I came very close to reaching the altar in the viper temple before the it went dark.
I was lucky with the direction guess and made it just before the entry down to lvl2 when the sun went dark.
(obviously teleporting from the WP, I don't think you can do it in another way)

So I wonder, has anyone of you ever managed to get there? Did it break anything?

its very difficult . how do you know sun go down when you are inside temple lv 1?

I have two instances running. I rush a low lvl char for the socket quest.

If only we had had achievements in D2R...
