I have to say farming keys has made me the most in this game... I have crap luck for finding runes, except the one

I had no idea three could even drop? are you in players 1 or 8?

Yes, this is pretty rare (about 1 in 18,206 to get 3 keys from Summoner on p1, see below). Nice one!

Theoretically, all the key bosses can drop up to 5 keys. I.e., their drop table has 5 'drops' that include keys as a potential result. It's like they have 5 dice rolls with a special dice that has "key!" on one side, and if all of the 5 dice rolls come up with "key!", then you get 5 keys. That's so rare tough that I'm not sure whether it has ever been recorded. Normally only one or zero of the potential key drops come up "key!", but plenty of people have seen double drops, I know some (including myself and the OP) that has seen a triple drops at least once, and someone once posted a screenshot of a quadruple drop on a discord server I'm in.

So you see, a 5 key drop on p1 is like one in a billion.

tnx for info... so they have changed drop chances since i've played last time. chances are lower of course

I do most of my runs in solo online.

I suppose I can't complain anymore about the occasional evenings I only get 1

Key in 30+ runs haha

I dont know what it is about this game but some things are just weird. SOLO = never get keys nor dusts. With 2 players or more = dusts and keys drop. I dont know what is going on with my account, I am 99% certain ive been put into some sh-tlist due to smacktalking activision blizzard so much on their forums. Every activision blizzard owned game; my "luck" seems to be idiotic, no drops what so ever. Any game outside of their games; I get drops and good stuff just fine. It is weird how its only Diablo games where I suffer

I mean normal player runs 500 runs and gets a high rune, I run 2000 runs and get nothing. This is the kind of deal I have had for about 20 or so years already. It just suddenly changed. I was able to get drops early days of Diablo 2, but at some point it changed and it all started to happen after I started to talk sh-t about the company. It cant be coincident? XD

Do you meant essence right?
But, the main point is right, with lucky, each item a monster drop can be the same item (except uniques - I think there is a rule that same unique cannot drop twice on the same game or area )

There is even the infamous super 5

This is just how statistics work xD For every person with your luck, there is someone with really good luck that is making up for it.

Im glad that people get good stuff, dont get me wrong about that. Just would be neat if that was a little more often myself than someone else XD

Believe me when I say I do not get lucky in this game... At least I don't think so.

It would be neat if they incorporated a "luck" stat into the game, where if you actually do all quests and don't rush your character, your chances of the RNG being in your favor increases.

This would force more people to actually play the game.
