Hi.
After maxing out all poison skills how do U fill summoning tree?
Have 1 in clay goilem, 1
Golem Mastery
, all needed to get
Revive
and some in
Skeleton Mastery
and
Raise Skeleton
. How do U distribute it?

If going for golems, expecially
Iron Golem
, you should first max
Golem Mastery
.

I dont use skellies, only
Revive
. And I use the points to max corpse explositon.

But if you want to use skeletons, I guess
Raise Skeleton
until you are happy with the number, and then
Skeleton Mastery
.
However, when an enemy is poisoned, any hit will stop the poison dmage for that frame. So, don't have to many skeletons.

It's actually even worse than that when playing online - any damage will stop poison tick for 8 frames (the frame on which the damage took place plus an additional 7 frames).

(offline it's just 1 frame, like you said)

Your first 80 points should go for
Poison Nova
,
Poison Explosion
,
Poison Dagger
,
Corpse Explosion

Then the next points go for
Golem Mastery
(if your golem is dying...)
or
Bone Wall
(to increase you defense, with
Bone Armor
sinergy)
or
Lower Resist
(to increase Poison damage a little...)

To use skeletons, you would need 40 points (
Raise Skeleton
+
Skeleton Mastery
)
And you don't want many minions, because
Offline: doing any damage stops Poison Damage for 1 frame.
Online: doing any damage stops Poison Damage for 8 frames. Online: doing any damage at the rate of 8fpa will fully stop friendly Poison Damage.
(i.e you minions doing damage, reduce you poison damage...)

and using an Insight
Iron Golem
. It becomes super tanky with max
Golem Mastery
.

on the "1 point wonder" category 🤔
Except against Ubers, my
Iron Golem
never died (and I only have 1 point in
Golem Mastery
)

Agree, I only have one point also. But on a new necro, I would suggest maxing it. I have a lot of +1 to skills, and that makes the one point worth it. But if you lack +1 to skills, it's worth maxing, at least in my experience.

But I'm also not very good at playing with necro, I have a hard time putting down Bone walls like I would like to, so, maybe it's just me who needs a lot of

Corpse Explosion
is super for P1, but P8 makes it useless. I'm using
Clay Golem
and it works fine. So best option would be playing without summons? I'm using
Attract
now and it's amazing because no other curse ovewrites it so I can use
Attract
and
Lower Resist
at the same time. So maybe
Bone Prison

, golem and play without pets?

i use might merc with Obedience in an ethereal
Cryptic Axe
. You can use Infinity to help reduce the defense/magic defense for
Corpse Explosion
if you prefer (it doesn't work on poison)

So what kind of bulid r U using? should I give up using summons? maybe act 3 merc?

and let the poison and lightning merc finish the job or sth? this bug with poison dmg is realy annoing.

Yes. I do not use summons.
And I also do not use revives, except for Udars with crushing blow for bosses, and even those, only for ubers or higher player count.

Merc, I use a act 5
Frenzy
merc. I stack as much CB on him as possible. He is a boss killer. It is ok for him to stop poison dmg, if crushing blow activates. If not fighting a boss, I keep him away from mobs with
Teleport
and Bone walls.

Insight
Iron Golem
.

Max poision
Nova
and synergies.

One point
Revive
,
Iron Golem
and
Summon Resist
.

One point in
Lower Resist
.

One point in
Corpse Explosion
and
Bone Armor
.

All else in
Bone Wall


3 - piece trang-ouls (gloves,
Belt
and shiled) with
Death's Web
for the minus to poison resist, with facets.

Total of minus 93% to poison resist.

Enigma,
Sandstorm Trek
Boots
, 10% fcr rings, 2 20 amulet and a 3 20
Circlet
with facets.

Edit: the -93% poisom res is also with the

facets

. I tried cloning him to offline with hero editor to fool around a little, but I was very confused with the skill distribution and ended up hating the results. Maybe because I don't have facets and d web.

I don't know if it was my playstyle that was off, or the damage without dweb and facets is lacking. but it felt inferior to using a full summons necro.

Yes, without
Death's Web
, the damage is lacking. Minus poison res is the most important stat, and dweb as a lot of it.
For the weapon, try to get as much +skill to
Nova
, like a
Blackbog's Sharp
, or a good White
Wand
, until you get
Death's Web
.

Since you have
Teleport
, try to reach the 75% fcr, but also the 39 fhr breakpoint. They make it much less cluncky to play.
