Izual. If you want to keep a armor swap in the cube, I'd say probably CoH for uber meph's

Conviction aura.
Best shield is Phoenix for kill speed, best defensive shield is Sanctuary, best qol is Exile.

I use Mosaicsin after I leveled her, but if you want a dedicated Smiter and if you have budget, Last Wish is the weapon for sure and as armor, Hustle is a nice alternative to test. I actually use Last Wish on my FoH hybrid build and makes an amazing difference.

I started running Ubers almost 3 years ago, with I might add great success and only a single Death. My starting gear from a post I made almost 3 years ago was and mostly still is.

My gear: weapons: Grief, Call To Arms; Armor: Duress (Also have Enigma and Fortitude), Gloves

Dracul's Grasp,

Helm G-Face, socketed with

Um,

Belt T-Gods (Replaced with Verdungo with -15% damage reduction), R. Shield HOZ socketed with

Um, L shield Spirit. Amulet 28 Mara's; Rings Jordan and

Raven Frost, Charms low Pally torch, middle annilius, 2X Pcom Grand Charms.

Since then I've rolled a 67% Crushing Blow Last Wish, and an Exile shield with 45% resists. To be frank neither of the two added anything of value to my success. I still prefer the Grief over the Last Wish (Dracul's is enough

Life Tap) and the

Herald Of Zakarum over the Exile, especially because socketed with an

Um, it not only does a quick take-down, it also adds 72% resistances which goes a long way toward neutralizing

Mephisto's Level 20

Conviction aura, and you want to try and get your lightning resistance to about 300%, because

Mephisto is the issue of the three pimary Ubers. I tried it but stopped using an Enigma when I started to get some decent drops (

Jah dropped in Matron's). I will swap to my Javazon for

Matron's Den because she rips right through it and it's more fun than teleporting or smiting my way through it. To the point, for the first two years I averaged 12-16 runs per month, found 5 perfect (not including 19-20 rolls) torches, and yet my build has changed very little.

It seems nobody mention gladiator’s bane.
It’s super tanky. My Mosaic assassin cleared Uber using only 2 mana potions! No healing, no rejun potion required at all.

Caveat: I’ve set it up for tanking, ease of play for Ubers.

Vortex Shield Exile, and I really didn't see any functional benefit over a Grief and HOZ setup. In fact the Grief setup seems to take Ubers down faster, and Darcul's

Faster

Life Tap procs are imo the only reason Last Wish is used for Ubers, Bosses only. It can be easily substituted by a

Wand with

Life Tap charges. I think the best usecase for Last Wish is 2x for A5 Merc as a companion to

Travincal horker.
Chains of Honor, on the other hand, is a huge improvement, because of the + Allres. You will want 300 all res, especially lightning for Ubermeph and CoH takes you a big step closer to that goal. Same goes for

Um'ed HoZ, but i think in the end, Exile has a better overall performance because of the huge Def Bonus by

Defiance Aura and the better % to proc

Life Tap, as the archers in

Matron's Den tend to hit a lil bit to often without it. It also allows you to substitute Draculs for

Blood Gloves with 20 ias and 10% Crushing blow and possible res, further elevating your overall dmg

I've never had an issue with

Life Tap procing using Dracul's, and with level 10 once it procs it has a duration of 37.6s. That's more than enough time for it to proc again. With the gear I'm using it takes under 4 minutes to clear all three major Ubers, with 3 years and more than 200 runs and only a single Death, I don't see any reason to change. But, since I have the runs to roll any item I want in the game I couldn't resist trying out a Last Wish and an Exile x 2.

Crushing blow is the only reson to use Last Wish against ubers.

HoZ is great, especially if you up it, but I like running Exile in a 42-res

Zakarum Shield because I like to use

Blood Gloves for the added Crushing blow and because I just like to play around with different builds.

Yes my HOZ is upped and socketed with an

Um which gives 72% resists, I have some

Blood Gloves on hand but like some of the many other things I've tried, they didn't make any function difference. Playing with a little caution, I can still clear all three major Ubers in under 4 minutes. I have however encountered all three at once. I didn't time it but it was basically in and out.

I think we all get to a point where we find a build that does what we want it to and then stop, but since I've accrued enough Wealth to satisfy my curiosity through experimentation I will try things out to see how they work out.
