I think I'm ready for my first Uber run? Or get my butt handed back to me.

I built a Pally, collected a good number of keys and ran

Über Izual,

Duriel, and

Lilith without too much difficulty. I will of course need some strategies to avoid confronting

Uber Baal, Diablo, and

Mephisto all at once, although it might be interesting.

My gear: weapons R. Grief, L. Call To Arms; Armor: Duress (Also have Enigma and Fortitude), Gloves Draculs,

Helm G-Face, socketed with

Um,

Belt T-Gods, R. Shield HOZ socketed with

Um, L shield Spirit. Amulet 28 Mara's; Rings Jordan and

Raven Frost, Charms low Pally torch, middle annilius, 2X Pcom Grand Charms.

Any good suggestions will be helpful.

Lilith using just a single Full rejuve. My Merc even survived in two of three of the runs. The last run I used several rejuves.

Displayed resists don't matter, meph has a

Conviction aura so it reduces your resists a lot. If you have a higher

Conviction it cancels his out, but you don't. That's why treach would be nice as you can proc

Fade for extra resists to help you fight meph.

Baal and Diablo won't be a problem for you at all.

I think my

Conviction with my plus to skills stuff is level 13. When Meph reduces my resists won't those kick in? How high should my

Conviction be?

I can always use a Token to reset?

i hope you werent trying to run ubers wearing the Treachery. Its meant to be a pre buff. Stand in the flames at

River of Flame wp or something with it on till

Fade procs, than swap to your Duress and you will be set my friend.
I have seen many people run into this problem they read these guides or watch videos and it isnt explained that Treachery is only meant for the

Fade proc, than swap to your better armor

Hover over your resists and u can see their total level, I think it needs to be above 250 or so? I don't remember. But just bring some full rejuvs and you'll be fine as you current gear is very good, mainly pointing out efficiency gains.

No, I stopped using the Treachery altogether, I didn't see any benefit. I probably should read a guide but I tend to listen to players on boards, over think it, and then adjust as needed.

I'm at 215%, I will try to adjust it higher tomorrow. Point all you want, that's why I started the thread. It might also help someone else. So thanks!

60% to all resists, 15% damage reduction, and 79% curse reduction for 4 minutes and 48 seconds is no slouch. Treachery's

Fade proc is a crucial part of my arsenal for theorycrafting soloing Uber Meph as a javazon with tank gear.

Enemy level 20

Conviction is a 125% fire/lightning/cold resist and 90% defense penalty to the player. Your resists need to be 225% to break even if you eat Uber Meph's

Conviction.

I have a Smiter for Ubers and my light res is around 280 with Fortitude so I don't need Treachery. Rest of the gear mostly in common but I strongly recommend Exile on a 40+ AR elite Pala shield. LT almost immediately procs and

Redemption is useful. And my Merc has Pride which is also very useful.

Oh, I think Wisp as a ring would be better.

mhlg, I agree with Phins_up, use Treachery to proc

Fade at river of flames, at the fires near the wp, then switch out to your other better armor. The

Fade is an easy boost to resistance and defense, no reason not to use it. I like

Guardian Angel for the +15 max resist all and +1 skills, and because I can't afford anything better

For me, I always then just have a bunch of lightning resist charms in the inventory for

Uber Mephisto and I turn on my 1-pt

Salvation while I'm getting him. Never died this way, and I didn't put any points into lightning resist so it freed up points for other skills that I found more useful. After maxing

Smite,

Holy Shield and

Fanaticism, you could instead make a

Zeal /

Sacrifice or FOH hybrid for faster clearing of other areas.

By the way, no need to go

River of Flame to

Fade proc. Just outside of the door there's a fire that does the job on act5.

With +skill,

Salvation should be at level 10 or more. That is 100% more resistance.

I have magic ring that I replaced the Jordan with that will take me to 238%, but at the lost of a +1 to skills.

I took a little time to do some experimenting with Treachery and Fortitude. Fortitude with no swapping raises my lightning resistance to 228%. Crushing blow is at 60%, open wounds 25%.

Treachery swap back to Duress ups my resistance to 267%, and leaves crushing blow at 75%, and open wounds at 58%. I timed it and by the time I get to

Mephisto, I estimate there's a good 4.5 minutes left, and I also get to keep my Stone of Jordan. So Treachery Swap is thus far is the best solution. Thanks

Tristram so that I can place Meph,

Baal, and Diablo in their default locations. I've added the portal, but now I have to add the Ubers to complete it.

Default locations aren't too vital as opposed to approach angles as their response to your presence differs a fair bit.

Order is of course a matter of preference (or just

Charge in and take all 3) but if you wanna go for the classic meph to whomever to whomever is left then one easy way to ensure that is to go in from the top (between the 2 further up buildings) just far enough for meph to aggro and

Charge you. The other two will ignore you. Pull him out to the top left (top right would work but risks blocking your portal if you fail) and have at it. Then just approach the other two from literally anywhere until one of them actually comes to you. VERY rarely will they both move at the same time, even when you do aggro both..more commonly neither will move for ages and they'll just spam random casts at you from a distance, not doing anything.


Basing it on your map there, this is pretty much my normal approach if I feel like doing one at a time (mad paint skills yo!): 1 = portal
2 = run over here to buff (far enough over so merc follows you there and doesn't mess up pathing/pulling)
3 = kill meph here
4 = kill the next one here (most of the time

Baal reacts first, every so often it ends up being dia instead)
5 = clean up whomever is left

(Certainly not the only valid pathing/order, just the one I got used to over the decades)
