Which is better for Hydra/Orb Sorc: Spirit or Phoenix?

One is the best p/p RW, other is expensive but proportionally useful. So, which one maximizes

It depends on you what you are missing/want. Where do you farm.
Can't say a RW is better than another.

IMO farming means no hydride to maximize output damage

Hydras are a special kind of summon that - unlike other minions - does fully benefit from -res gear and all that jazz.
So yeah, Phoenix is actually quite baller for a

Hydra sorc.
