Description
One is the best p/p RW, other is expensive but proportionally useful. So, which one maximizes Hydra/Orb Sorc farm speed?

Well, a Hydra is a summon, right? Like assy traps. Not sure hydras can benefit from -28% fire Pierce Phoenix provides. If yes - Phoenix can prove some worthy here (but still, your orb will reduce it's aura effectiveness by shatterin some corpses). Otherwise, I'd recommend either +3 Hydra Obsession staff, or HotO/eschuta + Spirit instead.
I can confirm that -fire resist does with with Hydra, Both Flickering Flame and 3 piece tals orb (-14 and -15% fire resist respectively) caused very large damage gains on cows (50% base fire resist). Phoenix would definitely help a lot! its Redemption aura would also help offset your mana if you use Infinity as wel
It depends on you what you are missing/want. Where do you farm.

So yeah, Phoenix is actually quite baller for a Hydra sorc.
