Thanks!

If the choice is a sword then I would go with Phase Blade, unless you're okay with frequently repairing your weapon.
It would be helpful if you provided more information on your build and what your end game goals are?

Thanks for the answer
Im doing the lightning sorcerer build, with Spirit shield and crecent moon sword. So, the only difference between those swords, is the durability?

First of all - never make it in Dimensional Blade, there's no advantage to that.
The purpose with making it in a Phase Blade is that it's the fastest 3os sword base in the game (-30 base speed, the next fastest is Long Sword with it's exceptional & elite counterparts at -10), but that only matters if your build is reliant on attack speed (vs cast speed).
What class/build are you playing?
If you're a trapsin, then trap laying speed is based on your attack speed - so weapon base and IAS on gear matters. Faster attack speed equals faster trap laying. For this reason, Phase Blade is the best base to make Crescent Moon Runeword in - however, with the caveat that you have to invest a lot of points into dexterity which you don't have much use for (unless you're actually aiming for max block, I guess). In this case, I would recommend sticking with a normal base ( Long Sword is the fastest normal tier sword that can have 3os - not Crystal Sword), until you have Enigma, then you can go for Phase Blade. Since Enigma saves you a lot of strength, the loss of vitality points from also investing a lot in dexterity won't be as bad.
If you're a sorceress, then attack speed is meaningless, so make it in a normal base (whether that be Crystal Sword, Broad Sword, Long Sword or War Sword is up to you - it only matters for str/dex requirements, and looks, i.e. style).

Durability matters not for spellcasting. A weapon only loses durability if you actually swing it at an enemy, not when casting spells or taking damage. The only difference beween the sword bases for Crescent Moon Runeword on a sorceress is different str/dex requirements, and looks.Predataker wrote: 9 months agoIm doing the lightning sorcerer build, with Spirit shield and crecent moon sword. Imo
Sorcerer : Crystal Sword (low requirements to wear, youre not using it as a sword so you dont consume durability on it)
Assassin : Phase Blade (higher than CS requirements, but has higher IAS there for works for trapper better, wish I had known this before I made mine)
(Edited the comment. Had wrong Blade for assassin)

Dimensional Blade has same speed as Crystal Sword. You probably meant Phase Blade?Semirotta wrote: 9 months agoAssassin :

Crystal Sword and Dimensional Blade have the same base speed (0)
It is Phase Blade that is faster (-30) and is a better option for Assassins.

Isn't Chain Lightning and Lightning cast speed also based on Attack Speed?ShadowHeart wrote: 9 months agoIf you're a sorceress, then attack speed is meaningless, so make it in a normal base (whether that be Crystal Sword, Broad Sword, Long Sword or War Sword is up to you - it only matters for str/dex requirements, and looks, i.e. style).

It used to be, a very long time ago, but not anymore. A quick google suggests the change happened in LoD patch 1.10, over 20 years agoBlubbalutsch wrote: 9 months agoIsn't Chain Lightning and Lightning cast speed also based on Attack Speed?ShadowHeart wrote: 9 months agoIf you're a sorceress, then attack speed is meaningless, so make it in a normal base (whether that be Crystal Sword, Broad Sword, Long Sword or War Sword is up to you - it only matters for str/dex requirements, and looks, i.e. style).

Little addendum: Lightning and Chain Lightning cast breakpoints are different from the others sorceress' skills.

(Probably because of that fact that they were based on attack speed on older versions

OH it was Phase Blade. Someone told me it was Dimensional Blade, they got it wrong then and taught me wrong in the progress. My bad! apologies people. I try to remember its the Phase Blade instead.fredkid wrote: 9 months agoCrystal Sword and Dimensional Blade have the same base speed (0)

The best Crescent Moon Runeword base for pure casters is the humble Axe. It has a lower strength requirement than the Crystal Sword and is visually distinct from Phase Blades, Spirit, and the common bases of Call To Arms.
If you intend to use it as a weapon, the Phase Blade is indestructible and will have the highest attack speed of any option by a significant margin, which is conducive to Dream builds.
As an aside, trap-laying speed for the Assassin is based on attack speed, making the Phase Blade an appealing choice for trapsins - though the increased rate might not necessarily be worth the Dexterity investment.

For trapsins, I'd argue that if you want to go the Axe route, that Military Pick is superior to Axe, since it's faster. Its dex requirements are easy to meet with a low anni, and str? Well, you need some str anyway for most gearAelanwyr wrote: 9 months agoThe best Crescent Moon Runeword base for pure casters is the humble

Yeah, that's why I would recommend sticking to Long Sword (or Military Pick), at least until you have Enigma. Having Enigma saves you 60+ str points (assuming you're level 80+), making the dex investment for Phase Blade less wasteful (investing lots of both str and dex to equip both Phase Blade and Spirit Monarch at the same time makes a huge dent in your HP pool).Aelanwyr wrote: 9 months agoAs an aside, trap-laying speed for the Assassin is based on attack speed, making the Phase Blade an appealing choice for trapsins - though the increased rate might not necessarily be worth the Dexterity investment.
