Best way to find Echoing weapons

Hi

I want to find some echoing weapons (3 warcries), to create, with a little help of Larzuk , two "3 warcries 60 mf" weapons (to use on swap with my Barbarian)

Seems to me that the most efficient way would be with town's vendors (going in/out of town to refresh the available weapons).

Gambling would cost too much Gold, and identify each dropped magic weapon would be very time consuming (and with too little chances on each run...)

That said, what would be the best Act to try it?
(Considering the amount of "possible hits" on each try, and the distance needed to go to vendors and exit town)

My first thought was Act 1 ( Rogue Encampment). I could respwan the layout until get the exit on the top, and so it would be very close to Charsi and Gheed.
(But maybe, on the long run, would even be better to focus on only 1 vendor )

Anya and Malah don't sell many "candidates" (one sells mostly claws and throwing weapons, and the other Wands/Staffs/Scepters)

But the cow's portal with Charsi is a cleaver ideia . I will try that

If I recall correctly, the best vendor would be Mallah, but Anya is more convinient, because you can reset her using Nialthak portal.

I don't know if Charsi sells them, but if she does, you can use a cow lvl portal to reset her wares.
You can do the same with Mallah, but it is a little more anoying, since you need one of each Key. Then you open a portal to a mini uber next to Mallah, and you can reset her like that.

I think the cow portal near Charsi sounds like the best bet too. I’d never have thought of that, I’d just have reset the map until the waypoint is closeish to her lol.

He wants to socket them with Larzuk so throwing weapons don’t work.

Used the Charsi + Cow's portal trick for around 2 hours, but found only 1 Echoing weapon
( Military Pick, no suffix)

I will try again another time...

Little detail: if you put the portal too close to Charsi sometimes he walks behind the portal and you cannot click on him... you have to wait him to walk away form the portal...

Drognan in A2 is also a convenient trick for shopping Echo weapons.

But I haven't done the full check to see if they can roll with the absolute secondary affixes you are looking for

Drognan has the same problem of Malah, they both sell mostly Staves, Scepters, Wands (that cannot roll with Echoing prefix )

You can get Echo'ing from Drognan; I've done it multiple times - I did it on my Throw Barb last season.

Both of my Dimensional Blades came from him. I just wasn't sure if the MF you were looking for was eligible from him as an NPC

But I think what you are saying is the frequency of the item type which is true; Drognan can be less than others but I found more success with him last season.

Yeah Drognan can sell Crystal Swords , but he has very few candidates on each "run"...
Charsi (and the other "Blacksmiths") have way more candidates on each "run".
And with the "cow's portal trick" you can refresh Charsi quickly (or any other Act 1 vendor if you are seeking other magic items that can be bought from vendors)
