With this build you could be farming everywhere with convenient MF, do Über Tristram and DClone. What would be your choice?
Can be used to make Runewords:

* I trade both ladder and non-ladder, please check before asking.
* All my trades are for runes, keys (especially KoT and KoH) and essences!
It used to be Hammerdin/Smiter or tri-brid hammer/foh/smiter.
But thanks to sunder, almost all S-tier build can do Uber/DClone

Depends on what your priorities and taste are.
There's plenty of builds that can farm everything, including ubers, from pally variations and javas over sorcs to Frenzy barbs and summon druids. Though they are not exactly created equal. E.g. a Frenzy barb CAN clear everything. But they won't be anywhere near the raw performance of a javazon or solid pally build.
Personally, I'd actually say bowzon. Can do everything no problem and is quite entertaining (subjective) in doing so. But I'm also very aware that her performance - while good - is nowhere near say my sorc or just generally many other actual top-tier builds.
If you're solely looking at overall performance though (or you just happen to prefer the playstyle), a Mosaic sin would be near impossible to beat.

OP
Actually, my question is not only about farming capability for everywhere, but also carrying enough MF (say 250+) without any need of weapon swapping. And regarding Über farming, it should be not that challenging. I mean, basically with enough knowledge and patience one can farm Übers with any well-geared build other than specific ones like singer Barb.Schnorki wrote: 11 months ago Depends on what your priorities and taste are.

So my vote also goes to Mosaic Assassin.

What would be gear for that Paladin? Well-known Hammerdin gear with the like Heaven's Light?mockingbirdreal wrote: 11 months ago It used to be Hammerdin/Smiter or tri-brid hammer/foh/smiter.

There are many choices of gears. You need both FCR for farming and CB, lifetap, OW for Uber.basicnecromancy wrote: 11 months ago What would be gear for that Paladin? Well-known Hammerdin gear with the like Heaven's Light?
Heaven's Light is a popular choice for having CB and you can put 2 Shael to reach 6 frames with only 1 hard point into fana.

Astreon’s iron Ward with +4 skills is a good option! -if you can find one
I adore my Poison Necro for the 'farm anything' role. I invested his extra skill points into summoning such that he's got access to decent physical damage and has revives. So, with the right curse, there's nowhere he can't clear, and he's done Ubers, DClone, Terror Zones, etc. I get that the conversation had gone to pallys, but I had to advocate for my favorite class.
Can login for trades between 7-11pm EST

I already have one ethereal with +4 and Zod in it. Good choice!

You can faceroll off- Smite with any caster pally build using only minor adjustments that hardly affect the caster side of things at all.basicnecromancy wrote: 11 months agoWhat would be gear for that Paladin? - Replace Boots with gore riders for OW and some crushing
- Roll your CtA in a Phase Blade
- Instead of a Spirit alongside your CtA, pop in an Exile
It won't get you quite to full smiter performance, obviously, but it is more than enough for ubers and the like. You drop a couple sills on your BO and your Boots by comparison to a "normal" caster loadout but that's honestly hard to ever notice at higher levels.
If you want, Sacrifice your head socket for a Cham to avoid getting frozen while smiting, done. Again hard to notice on a hammerdin, slightly more annoying on a FoHdin since you'd then drop a facet for it.
(Just one of many ways to go about it mind you)

Good points! And what about CtA on a Caduceus with some staffmods like Fanaticism to spare points?Schnorki wrote: 11 months agoYou can faceroll off- Smite with any caster pally build using only minor adjustments that hardly affect the caster side of things at all.basicnecromancy wrote: 11 months agoWhat would be gear for that Paladin? Edit: Oh no need to spare point since it's Hammerdin. I confused it with FoH Paladin.

Phase CtA = 7 frame Smite, even without fana, easy 6 with 1 pt. fanabasicnecromancy wrote: 11 months ago ...

Caduceus = 8 frame Smite, needs at least lvl 13 fana to break 6
If you plan to uber with it, you'll likely be keeping Conviction for meph (assuming you're a FoHdin) or using a 1pt Salvation for him or whatever. No fana anyways. Personally, I'd hence stick to a phase to keep 7 frames on meph.
Alternatively, adding 20 more IAS somewhere gets you 7 frame base with a cad as well but then you're sacrificing other bits somewhere again for little to no noticeable gain.
For me that's a tesladin. I use this standard Grief build with a light sunder and gore riders: https://maxroll.gg/d2/guides/dream-paladin
This build without gear swaps can handle any Terror zone p3-8, depending on area and how nice your gear is. It's a really safe build, so kill speed, not survival, is the limiting factor at higher player counts
The same build also works fine for ubers, although it's slower than a smiter. I switch to dracs for ubers and change around my merc, but you can also just do it with a Life Tap Wand

I was inspired by TheDoo's Vengeance Paladin with just some theory crafting and ended up with this Avenger. What do you guys think about it? I haven't ever played one and no idea about play styel. This is just on paper but will try that when I have time.

Mosaic Assassin for sure. Nothing comes close to it and I've played all top tier builds, fully decked out.basicnecromancy wrote: 11 months ago With this build you could be farming everywhere with convenient MF, do Über Tristram and DClone. What would be your choice?
