The best movie in the terminator "series".
The first one is closer to a classic thriller, while the second one represents the triple A category. Well, it literally is an icon of triple A movies
IMO, all terminator movies that came next where more like a pathetic crap (pardon my language but that is the most accurate description) that attempted to ruin the concept of the first two movies (e.g. the last one with the idea of "strong ladies" opposing "bad men")

I love the character development and arc for the T-800 in this movie. At the beginning it’s mindless and has zero emotions, strictly following a mission. But it also has to listen to John’s orders, and does so with no hesitation. As the movie goes on the T-800 builds a positive relationship with John, it starts making jokes, and begins to see the value and virtue in humanity. At the very end, the T-800 disobeys John’s orders for the greater good of the world! That’s what you call SS-tier development!!!
