Hammerdin damage?

I had some extra gear and decided to build a hammerdin. He's got

Shako, low hoto, Enigma, HoZ, trangs, SOJ,

Raven Frost, Arachnid, and sandstorm. Off hand is low CTA and Spirit.
I don't have any skillers, but I have a torch and low anni. I've got the basic lvling done with 20 BH 20 Vig 20 BA 20 Conc. When buffed hes lvl 40 BH with 38 Con. For some reason my damage buffed is sitting at 3k. This doesn't seem right. Any ideas?

Is your Conc aura on all the time you casting hammers?

Yes I have it on a hot

Key. and run it pretty much all the time since I have Enigma. I don't see a damage difference with it on or off when I check in the skill tree.

Vigor and

Concentration fully buffed.

i believe the high end players run 10 skillers.

you should look at your character sheet, the skill only shows what the skill itself will do, not the total dmg.

my BH skill shows 1000 dmg, the character sheet shows 3700 dmg

9. typically 8 for non-PvP.

You can't use 10 without sacrificing your torch so the effective max is 9 which is what folks tend to use in pvp or when truly maximizing for some other reason.
Generally though, for PvM play, folks tend to stick with 8 so you can still fit a cube next to them to carry the occasional bit of loot.

But yeah, looking at the skill itself is misleading as it doesn't show the effect of conc.
