That's not exactly true. I play sorc and I have an Infinity. In the last three days I've had two cases where my
Conviction
stopped working as soon as a unique monster with an
Conviction
aura approached and its aura started working on me. Thats mean, that its
Conviction
was higher than level 12.
However, I must admit that this is very rare case, usually my
Conviction
is stronger.

I don't know if this has been listed, but there is a secret entrance to the monastery, prison, so before you get to the catacombs.

There are rooms where you can't get in at first sight, but if you touch the wall at a certain place, the wall opens and you can find chests and various objects in the rooms.

Perhaps someone knows this "secret trick" and perhaps this point could be included here.

Diadem
have such high quality and magic levels, you can imbue them at any character level and you'll have the same item generation as you would with even a level 99 character.
Is this true? I thought that you had to be level 80ish to get the +2 to all skills affix etc.

If there was magic here, it is long gone now.

, but if the game attempts to select them multiple times during item generation, the game will eventually give up as a fail-safe and spawn the
Scepter
with one of those skills. The chances of this is one in the tens of thousands."

I believe this was patched out of D2R somewhat recently, but was not noted. Source: MrLlama. I do not know how to confirm but I trust his word haha

It's been fixed since launch, was one of many "Stealth fixes" along with ebugging and such.

zones, monster's
Conviction
will have L12 if TZ level is 93+ (so Unique level is 96) and
Conviction
of the same level cancel each other (for the users)

Addendum: there is a bug, that sometimes after face a monsters with same
Conviction
Level as you (or as your merc), the
Conviction
character will "gain" the
Conviction
's penalty until you restart the game or turn off the aura (unequip Infinity works)
This may happen with Infinity users (character or Merc) on TZ zones (L93+)...
So after face a
Conviction
monster look at your resistances (or your Merc's resistances) to check 😉

Actually min ilvl for alvl 90 (to be able to roll 2 to class skill prefix) are:

Circlet
: 87 (mlvl 3 qlvl 24)
Coronet
: 82 (mlvl 8 qlvl 52)
Tiara
: 77 (mlvl 13 qlvl 70)
Diadem
: 1 (mlvl 18 qlvl 85)
alvl = max(qlvl, ilvl) + mlvl
