x4 or x5 5-5 facets for an Ohm in October November ser_id=67753]
Can you also please tell that same guy to stop paying Sur for a 5/5 lightning facet...
I'm sure next week they'll try to pump the price to Ber.

Unfortunately thats just supply and demand. That's why I make necros in beginning of ladder. While everyone's scrambling to outfit their Padin and Sorc they throw the necro gear at you. Got x4 or x5 5-5 facets for an Ohm in October-November, at thelat point that was sane price for x1 5-4/4-5 Lightning one. Same with skillers was getting x3 pack of PnB and Summon GCs for an Ist while x1 lightning or P Comb was x3 ists. Made good money selling a few P combs with 12fhr.

I totally get it, y'all, I'm just going to say, as a seller, I will list at (and take) the maximum of what people are trying to offer.
Tell me if a Jah dropped for you right now that you didn't need, you wouldn't try to get a Ber-level sale on it. I'll wait.

All prices negotiable. BIN always wins. Americas (Pacific), but int'l trade times can be arranged.

That’s really smart. Too bad I always played Paladin as a kid, I was in love with the medieval knight concept. Even in D3 I had to go with the monk then crusader because it was the closest, but it seems like everybody else was thinking the same thing.
No, I literally got a Jah yesterday and sold it for Ber Ohm today. Move with the market.cristobal03 wrote: 2 years ago I totally get it, y'all, I'm just going to say, as a seller, I will list at (and take) the maximum of what people are trying to offer.

I bought a Jah for Ber+ Vex just because at the time I was in desperate need of an Enigma and I couldn't find a cheaper price here or on traderie, I would say Jah going up only related to the market demand, more and more players are getting closer to an Enigma and statistically, at least it seems to, a Ber would drop earlier than a Jah.
Yeah, I finally made a sorc because I didn't want to spend the runes to make Infinity sooner. x2 bers during launch and made an Enigma for my necro, Smiter was made with 1 Ber for CoH. Summoner necro x1 Ber for Beast.VolitionSin wrote: 2 years ago Also more people are starting to build tesladins as well. Ber were heavily needed earlier as people made their light sorcs, for Infinity.

Just have to be careful. There are plenty of trade scammers online that like to switch out high end runewords for similar looking junk. Had one today that tried to entice me with an Enigma when I was attempting to trade Lo Ohm Ist for a Jah (approx 950 in value and Jah is was running around 900-950).I knew the guy was attempting to scam bait trade and never even got into a trade window. Shut that mess down before it could get started and he immediately left when I told him I didn’t need it and planned to make my own.annoynimous wrote: 2 years ago it clearly means there's a lack of Jah runes dropping, resulting in lack of supply, blame Blizzard's nazi control drop system for online bnet.
if you can't wait for market re-correction, try to obtain the item already socketed with the runewords instead, might end up easier to negotiate since some sellers want to offload theirs to break up into smaller runes.
Just be wary out there.
Hmm, latest post has been 8 months from now.
NL Market has consistently been with Jah > Ber for a long time now ( Jah ~ Ber + Ohm / Ber + Lo as of now).
In ladder both are pretty equivalent.
The difference is that :
- on ladder you need quicker the Ber (typically for Infinity) than the Jah (Enigma needs one of each so this one does not put the market in either direction).
- In the long run Jah is rarer than Ber in spite of the drop rate, because 2 Sur, which is wayyy cheaper, can be cubed into a Ber. No one with a healthy mind (except SSF) will cube 2 Ber in a Jah.

It's kind of interesting and a little amusing to read about pre-ladder rune values. Sur + Lo for Jah now on non-ladder would be a complete steal for the person offering the Sur + Lo. Offering 2 Lo + Ist (which is effectively empty filler) for Jah on non-ladder would probably cause some sellers to block you. Maybe someone would still take that on ladder, but it's a bad future value proposition unless you need the Lo now.
Likewise, knowing that the next ladder will start in about a month, Ber is going to lose value against Jah on ladder when the expectation is that many runes will transition over into non-ladder rather than used, so the ladder exchange rate will reflect that.
The market is what it is. Item values and exchange rates don't stay static forever. Telling people not to pay X for Y is an exercise in futility and no forum community (which has enough disparate opinions in and of itself) has enough pull to influence the market on a broader scale. The amount of pull I have in saying a dozen eggs cost $1.50 a year ago is zero when it comes to a dozen eggs costing $5 today.

EPOCH FAIL
I keep seeing trades today that reminded me of this thread.
I saw quite a few that either seems to overvalue or undervalue, but I saw these two at literally the same time:
Token 4 2Ist
Ist 4 2Token
Also these two:
2VexGul 4 Ber
Ber 4 SurLoVex
I don't know if I really have a point; I'm just sharing some other prices that I've seen that I think are weird.

Well, most things sell in a (sometimes rather wide) range.
Assuming the folks involved know that range, a seller will naturally go for the higher end of that range while a buyer tries to get something for the low end.
As a result, token for 2 Ist and Ist for 2 tokens really isn't far off from expectations in either direction (based on what I've seen them actually go for lately). And in either case, they may both well settle for an Ist per token when offered in their game.
2 Vex + Gul for a Ber however is obviously so far out of the real value range that it is likely just someone trying to either beg or "hope for cluelessness" their way up the Wealth chain. Kind of like that guy who recently sent me a private message here, offering me a Key set for my Enigma *cough*.
Those will always be there.
Ironically, in current times where you repeatedly have "free Jah/ Ber" games happening (and actually meaning it) because folks just have so much/so many of them, you're probably more likely to succeed just asking for a free one than going with an "offensive" offer like 2 Vex/ Gul

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
