"Festive buffs" - what does it mean?

I just read https://news.blizzard.com/en-gb/diablo2 ... iday-event

Blizzard seems to be a little unprecise about the true nature of the buffs they apply. I got it so far that a certain TZ will be active the whole day - or did i get something wrong?
Maybe you can share some "harder facts" about this event

Yep, today is cow level. Doesn't seem to make it any better tho. Still kinda lousy spot to grind

This event is epic!!! It means I have to reroll every single RW into perfect bases which we all will find.

I finally logged into game and did !!! ONE COW RUN !!! - 5mins of playing game

Terrorized zone lvl 94, p1, ladder, MF 6%

Actualy, i found a soj today in trav but i think it has nothing to do with the event. But maybe this 25% global bonus mf did it...

Super lucky, I'd say! I ran maybe 10 cows and all I found are 2 ethereal polearms (but no socket/not superior).

Then again I have a little MF (

Shako and stuff), so I'm finding less bases.

My best rune in 6 runs was

Amn ; no jewels, charms or bases worth mentioning; also a

Cranebeak and

Stormshield... lol

Nothing particularly valuable for me but pretty rare mid-level uniques have been dropping at a high rate. I also got a

Cranebeak lol

He's not wrong. That is today's buff.
Cows was yesterday's buff.

"today" merely isn't something that starts targeted at midnight (and even if it were, obviously not for everyone, seeing how it is globally synched). Switches at 11am PST each day.

Though I find it hard to call today's a "buff", seeing how a 15 minute cycle is just stupidly annoying.

Not getting any bonus MF here, neither yesterday nor today.

today until 17 o'clock CET i had cows only on asian server

15 minute cycle, what an idiotic idea, and they call this a holiday special

buffs rotate at 11am pst, so yesterday's was cow. today at 11am pst, they did the tz rotating every 15min. tomorrow 11am pst they will have something else

15 minutes per zone... and here I thought 1 hour was way too short.

cows one was alright but this 15 mins thing is terrible.. barely get any runs in.
