Flayer Jungle was okay, but the Flayer Dungeon was pretty bad, especially level 3. Absolutely not worth the time traversing that versus running a static map like Chaos or Baal.
Either way, TZ does nothing to improve party play, as I predicted. Depending on the zone, it can be far worse.
I did pick up about 4M XP in approximately 15 public Travincal runs, each taking up about two minutes or less, so that was pretty good. I haven't paid attention to what a Baal run gets me since turning 97. It should be about 125K at 97 when extrapolating from what I was getting at 96.

Is it worth me creating a Terror zone tracker so that people can see which zone is currently terrorized?
Just from first glance, it seems that Terror zones are the same across regions and game modes (thank god!). Given, I haven't double-checked against classic/hardcore but at least ladder and non-ladder was the same across all 3 regions just now.
With that, a tracker may still have some use (i.e. saves you from starting the game at all if you don't like the zone) but it won't be anywhere near as necessary as it is for dclone as you don't have to worry about regions and whatnot but you will know across the board after creating a single game anywhere.

I originally theorized Travincal would be bad because of the coward Zakarumites, but they actually come at you now, so that's good. Repeatedly killing the council should yield nice XP too and it looks like that's where most of the value of terrorized Travincal lies.
A terrorized Travincal could be a horker's paradise.
I think the game AI for the Zakarumites is that they will attack you if your level is equal or lower than theirs, but will run away if you out-level them. In TZ they will have higher level than players now, hence the aggressive mode.

It's actually based on whether you've smashed the Compelling Orb to tie it into the game lore a bit.
Also, I found the behavior a little inconsistent when Travincal was a TZ. There were a couple of instances where they ran away, but I was swarmed by them in the first couple of games I played including the private game I first tested out Travincal as a TZ.

Feels like night and day with XP gain. Would take days to even see the slightest movement on my bar @ lvl 96. Now I'm getting like 1-2% per hour! Guessing everyone will be 99 in a few weeks at this rate.
A little off topic. Can grand charm from Terror zones roll 45 life?
If the level is high enough, yes. It takes 91 or higher to roll 45 life.
Since the Terror level scales based on the host though, you can't necessarily generalize it for Terror zones as a whole. Go in low, no 45. Go in high, 45.
Per the patch notes, Terror zones don't scale bosses/superuniques and even if they did, dclone is already lvl 110 so he wouldn't move up any further either way.

Have you tried to use the char that passed normal Baal to enter the lobby and create a new game? There should be a new checkbox at the game creation interface.
