LE/FE bug still present?

Man, just lost a sorc I was leveling to NM

Griswold. Insta-Death with full health when I got too close. For some reason I thought the

Corpse Explosion LE/FE bug was resolved but I guess not. I was also probably Amp'd so that didn't help. My last HC character was a summon necro so I was safely in the back all the time and never really came close to dying. In this instance I was trying to static

Griswold for my merc to take him down.

RIP.

Are there any other bugs out there remaining that would be dangerous to HC characters?

The only patch I saw address anything like this was 2.4's reduction of fire damage dealt by FE mobs in NM, and one would assume this affected the explosion damage. Amp in tandem with an invisible explosion is probably what caused this.

FE+LE and LE+Cold are the most dangerous combinations by far.

Once happened with me too with

Griswold, I was playing Summon Necro and was 92 lvl.

Griswold had lightning aura, I was with 75% LightRes (no

Conviction) and still died from 2 pulses. Thought that there is some bug with damage. Lucky for me, I am playing softcore...
