I've played Paladin since launch and dabbled a little bit with Amazon. I personally either want to make a Sorceress with

Hydra/

Fireball or Necromancer as a Summoner

Hydra sorc as well, but I'll play ladder with a friend on an

Hydra sorc, so we kinda want to diversity our damage type!

The best starter char is the one independent of the gear found, so Hammerdin for me. Sorceress I find boring.

If you get a PM offer, post it in the trade. Promote healthy competition instead of settling for less.

Sorc 100%. Get my first Spirit, then Insight then farm andy/keys and get a horking barb and smiter.

Elemental druid or bowazon.

I think i'll try to start with MA Sin but still can't decide which one, Tiger or Phoenix. Probably Phoenix combined with Act V barb. Also, can it be viable with two-handed weapons, Tiger option for example? Definitely a room for experiments.

I'm leaning towards a

Nova or

Hydra Sorc, then maybe maybe Poison Necro. The Fire Aura Paladin seems heck of fun, but pretty sure they will nerf it vs the PTR one.

Also thinking about the Phoenix Assassin. Just because it's the most different from what I usually play. Atm I am a bit bored of hammers, sorc, Java, summoner and traps.

Phoenix seems to be the only really viable melee starter cause of the AR bonuses now.

I just had thoughts on potentially making a dual

Phase Blade Plague Barbarian for a ladder character. Thoughts?

The procs from level 15

Poison Nova (x2 = level 30) on striking and level 12

Lower Resist (x2 = level 24) when struck really intrigues me. It also requires 2

Cham to make it work.

It makes me chuckle to see the procs of

Poison Nova going off lol

I was considering doing the same thing with barb. Probably make a necro too since I haven't made one in d2r.
