I hate ghosts as well with my Frenzy Barb. I use a Lacerator Throwing Axe (not to throw) on my offhand which casts Lv 3 Amplify Damage with a 33% chance to help break physical immunities. Reasonably cheap to trade for. I lucked out and found one. I did luck out with someone also dropping a Reapers Toll in a free game for my Merc.

this worked! Lacerator does the job, but my merc dies like crazy with them ghosts. even with full 75% resistences on all but poison 65%? should i get him Smoke? it wouldn't realy matter on the res besides the poison, which i could probably socket
what you guys use for merc armor in beginning hell? (end A2)

For merc, mainly used Duriel's Shell, had an Eth version for a while. Using Tal Rasha's Horadric Crest for a Helm, or Crown of Thieves for life steal which helps with survivability and Insight for the weapon. If you can find a Lem or cube up to one, Treachery is much better.

If you don't have a mf character, you should try to change your necro to a summon mf necro with strong emphasis on resists. Best to have a mf sorc tbh and use her to feed your other characters with gg items.

I, for the first time have soloed and cleared hell including Baal and all, no immune escaped me.

that was fun! first time ever including the original.

Lacerator was a weapon I used on my Zealot before I moved to Grief. I really like the amp damage on it, high proc rate as well!

I just wanted to say, that as a new player myself that started like 2 weeks ago and has made 3 chars(sin ,paladin and now leveling a sorc) and hitting a a big wall in hell that i still dint manage to break ( i hope my sorc will manage im only lvl 40-45), what a bunch of very nice and good people here on this forum.I want to say a big thank you for being the persons u all are.HF&GL all of you.
